Would be a great update ... because this would allow to upload files from my windows machine to the PS3 ... that internally can handle big files
(but do only allow ext3 hd to be connected to the usb port).

AnonymousSat, 25 Apr 2009 18:33:24 -0000https://sourceforge.net2ee428da3cb3b13f4acd3da9916c2e93dc9975feAquileo | req: featureshttps://sourceforge.net/p/minishare/feature-requests/8/

Nice program, some requests:

- popup by the tray, so i can close it from there
- working "del" button
- sorting the columns from the listview
- generating the url for the person, instead of the local url
(my lan ip)
- Show files en connections at the same time, or maybe
use tabs.

AnonymousSun, 04 Sep 2005 21:45:06 -0000https://sourceforge.net4d970613bc95895a514377ddded304f12d118013Aquileo | using folders would be wisehttps://sourceforge.net/p/minishare/feature-requests/7/

my idea is that when you upload the files you should be
able to upload folders with it to make it organized. it
would be a lot easier seaching for the file you want
through descriptive folders basically telling you where
everything is..for example this is what i would do:

music
movies
programs
pictures

and then people will know where to search whether they
want a picture or a song they wont have to scroll down
an huge entire list of files. Also it would be great for full
alums put all of the songs under the album name and
put the album name under the artist just plain organized
very user friendly for example:

-Music
+Artist 1
-Artist 2
+album 1
+album 2
-album 3
song
song
song
song

put a lot of files in what seems very little space!
thanks for reading my idea i have a few others i just
have to think them all the way thorugh. your program is
the only one that has potential all of the other ones are
way to complicated and i like your ideas man.

Really nice app.
Just what I needed: a super lightweight http server.

If no "/" is written in front of the path in the File
Had some problems with that.

bauernakkeThu, 26 May 2005 14:48:13 -0000https://sourceforge.netb0574b06839213b7ff71639d0ee84bd9f713a027Aquileo | Allow bind to a specific IP addresshttps://sourceforge.net/p/minishare/feature-requests/5/

Currently, server.c only does a bind using
Its
fabulous. I regularly switch it on to let my friends
get software and music files from my PC. All this,
without worrying about anything else except sharing the
right file !
Plz incorporate FTP protocol instead of HTTP in your
server as we are bandwidth-starved. There are no
Drag-and-drop FTP servers that offer the functionality
of Minishare - infact, no drag-and-drop FTP servers at
all.
