Hi.
I have Asus x370 pro with ITE8665E chip and ITEIT87x.kext doesn't work with that. It's possible to add support of this sensor? Thanks.

I also encountered this issue with blank space on toolbar 10.10.3 and accidentally clicked it and got the drop down menu (and was able to customize it). Same version 6.14.1364. I am not sure where development is, at this stage--been quiet a lot, lately... In any case, many thanks for your work Kozlek and team.

Version 6.14.1364 fails to display its icon in the toolbar.

Hi Kozlek,

I'm using your FakeSMC kext + PlugIns on all my Hacks but experience systematic KPs whatever the OS X version when I use the GPUSensors kext on my nVidia Quadro NVS 110M-based laptop.

This GPU is based in G72 (NV46) chip (or GeForce 7300 chip). PCI ids are as follows:
Ven=10de
Dev=017d

I've tried older 32bit binary versions of your kexts (from v5.2.678 to v6.0.1011) on that machine, which is the only older models for which I encounter this issue. All my other GMA950/X3100 systems run Ok.

Is this something that you could possibly fix?

This is just a question really. I was wondering, what exactly does HWMonitor check for in order to decide whether it will show the fan-control popup or not?

Is it looking for a particular SMC key? A device or method inside the DSDT?

I want to play around with my dsdt and see if I can find a way to enable fan-control.

That may be exactly what happened. I had some older unzipped folders from before I started using the installer packages. Hopefully knowing this I'll not have the issue anymore. :)

HWSensors installer can find and update app anywhere on the disk, preferably last used one. This installer feature was implemented by users request in case that app was relocated to Utilities folder etc. Try to search and delete HWMonitor app duplicates.
