Hi everyone,

The nomination period for the UHDS Community Group Chair has officially
closed. As we didn't receive any formal nominations, I want to ensure we
don't lose the momentum we’ve built.

To keep us moving forward, I propose the following:

   -

   *Interim Leadership:* I will step in as the Chair for the next 6 months
   to facilitate our initial meetings and finalize our charter.
   -

   *Open Call:* I am still very much looking forward to having co-chairs.
   If anyone is interested in sharing the administrative duties (scheduling,
   logistics, etc.), please reach out to me directly or reply to this thread.

I will send out an invite for our first "Kick-off" meeting shortly to
discuss our technical roadmap.

I hope you are all well.

Now that the UHDS Community Group has been officially created and the
mailing list is active, we should proceed with establishing the group’s
initial governance.

As per W3C Community Group best practices, I would like to open the process
for nominating Chair(s) of the UHDS Community Group.

Nominations

Members may nominate themselves or other members.

Please reply to this mailing list with:

   Name

   Affiliation (if any)
   -

   A short statement of interest (optional but encouraged)

Timeline

   Nominations open until: [insert date – e.g., 7 days from now]
   -

   If more than one candidate is nominated, we will proceed with a simple
   community vote.


Until the chair(s) are confirmed, I will act only as the group proposer to
help with initial coordination.
