Genode OS 26.05 Released, Finishes Moving From GitHub To Codeberg

With Genode OS now turning various Sculpt OS features into reusable framework features, the intent is that they can be reused by other hypothetical Genode-based systems. Genode OS 26.05 has also improved its hardware driver support for WiFi, ACPI, SOF audio, HID, LTE, and more.
Outside of the coding work on Genode OS 26.05, they have also completed their migration of the project from GitHub to Codeberg. Genode developers had been working to move off GitHub due to AI training concerns around GitHub Copilot and the like. With Codeberg they now are running off the open-source Forgejo project with less restrictions and concerns than the Microsoft-owned GitHub.
More details on all of the improvements to find with Genode OS 26.05 can be found via the project's release notes.
