GFG Work Experience As A Technical Content Writing Intern

Last Updated : 23 Jul, 2025

On 20/02/2024, my first article was published on GFG and then I applied for the GFG Technical Content Writing Internship. The rules and regulations for this internship are too good! But still, it will be better if they pay for the experiences we share. Though, this technical writing internship helped me a lot in learning new things and overall increased my reading and writing abilities.

Throughout my internship, I tackled each new topic at different levels of difficulty. I belong to Computer Science, but still, I didn't write any article related to that. I write articles for classes less than or equal to 12th standard. Since I have to PCMB background, I'm able to write articles on biology too! My 1st article on biology was: Diagram of Stomach which got over 1K+ views. You can find the link to that article here: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/biology/diagram-of-stomach/

Duration of Internship: 6 Months

Start Date: 2024-03-10

When you apply for the internship, you'll get the offer letter at that time. To get the internship certificate, I need to have a minimum of 10 published articles or 50 improvements. This is my 10th article itself. So, if this gets published, I will be eligible for the certificates in 2 months of the internship itself. I hope that whoever is reading this article feels motivated to contribute to the community, learn, and grow. GFG is a very good platform for getting started. Here are some pros and cons of the internship:

Pros:

  • No work pressure
  • Selection of articles of our choice
  • For every published article, we are paid a minimum of 300 rupees (if the article follows the guidelines)
  • Increased reading and writing skills.
  • Overall growth in personal skills

Cons:

  • Not getting paid, for all the articles

That's it. Only a single con, which may not be a con. I suggest you all, if you have some interest in article writing, do write articles in the GFG Write portal. You will get a good experience! That's all. Thanks for reading!
