The last company that visited our college for B.C.A. / B.B.A. placement was Telus International. It was a Canadian-based company asking us to work for international clients on the night shift. It was a placement drive where are main selection was done based on communication skills.
There were only 3 rounds as they just wanted to know our communication skills.
Round 1
We were divided into groups of 15 people and given a random topic with a time of 5 minutes for thinking.
It was now our group tern. We went & then given a topic of Women's Empowerment. Me and my friend looked at each other & then decided to say to the sir, sir this topic is outdated. He replied you need to talk about this only.
Everyone started speaking. About various points. It was then my turn.
I said I think Women's empowerment has already been achieved. Women now know their capability of working & they are working as professionals.
Round 2
The people who were selected were given a test link. The test link consists of speaking skills. 4 Sub-Rounds of Speaking
- The first round was comprehension.
- The second round was first listening & then speaking the same sentence.
- The third round was filling up the blanks using the correct proposition.
- The fourth round was seeing the topic & then speaking it for 2 minutes.
Round 3 HR Round
- It was the last round. It was conducted online. Every student who was selected was provided special links and a special time allotment for the interview call.
- My first question was to introduce yourself.
- The second question was You know it would be a night shift job so why do you need to join it.
- The third question was what have you learned in the last 1 month.
