Securing a job as a System Engineer at Infosys is a competitive process, and I’m here to share my experience of the selection journey—from the initial online exam to the final interview. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of my experience that led me to join the company.
1. The Shortlisting Process
The first hurdle was the online exam, which consisted of several sections designed to evaluate different skill sets:
- Aptitude Test: Focused on reasoning, mathematical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Verbal Ability: Assessed proficiency in the English language.
- Pseudocode: Tested basic coding and logical thinking skills.

2. The Interview Round
After clearing the online exam, I was shortlisted for the interview. Here’s how the interview went:

3. My Overall Experience
The overall difficulty level was moderate, and the interview panel was friendly and professional. I felt well-prepared, thanks to mock interviews and thorough resume optimization. This preparation helped me stay confident throughout the process.
