GlobalLogic is known for its innovative work in digital product engineering. The company has partnered with some of the world’s leading brands across industries such as automotive, healthcare, telecom, and media. They are committed to transforming businesses through technology, which makes working here a rewarding experience.

For the on-campus recruitment process, the offered package was 5.66 LPA CTC.

1. Resume Shortlisting:

The first step involved resume shortlisting, with the eligibility criteria being:

A minimum of 60% in 10th, 12th, and B.Tech and no active backlog. Candidates who met these criteria were selected for the next round.

2. Written Test:

The written round lasted approximately 120 minutes and was conducted online under proctoring. The test focused on Java, PostgreSQL, and DBMS concepts, and it was divided into several sections:

  • Section 1: Two SQL-based problems to be solved within the allotted time.
  • Section 2: A Java programming question.
  • Section 3: Two coding questions, focusing on Arrays and Strings, with a time limit of 45 minutes.
  • Section 4: MCQs based on Java concepts.
  • Section 5: MCQs focused on SQL and DBMS.
  • Section 6: An English language competency test.

About 50-60 students were shortlisted based on their performance, and I was fortunate to be one of them.

3. Technical Interview:

In this round, the interviewer primarily focused on the programming language of your choice (Java or Python). The questions covered:

  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • SQL queries and database-related problems.
  • Basic Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), particularly focusing on sorting and searching techniques.

4. Managerial Round:

This round involved:

  • HR-style questions and popular interview puzzles.
  • Discussions on the information in your resume, including recent projects and your career goals.
  • General HR questions regarding your aspirations and future plans.
  • This was also an elimination round, and unfortunately, I was eliminated after this stage.

5. HR Round:

The HR round focused on:

  • General questions about hobbies and personal interests.
  • Future career aspirations.

Suggestions:

To excel in GlobalLogic’s recruitment process, I recommend focusing on:

  • Core Java concepts.
  • SQL and DBMS fundamentals.
  • Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
  • Popular interview puzzles (especially those on GeeksforGeeks).

Good luck to everyone preparing for this exciting opportunity!
