Interview Process
The interview consisted of one technical round lasting 60 minutes.
Interview Breakdown:
- Introduction: The interview began with my self-introduction, followed by a discussion about my resume.
- Project Discussion:
- The first 30 minutes were dedicated to my full-stack project. I walked the interviewers through the project, detailing its features and architecture.
- They asked several questions related to API usage, how authentication works, and the different types of databases, along with their implementation methods.
- Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA):
- The next 30 minutes were focused on DSA, where I was presented with two questions:
- Chocolates Distribution Problem: Given an array of students' ratings, I needed to determine the minimum number of chocolates required to distribute such that a student with a higher rating than their neighbor receives more chocolates than that neighbor.
- Pair Sum Problem: I was tasked with finding a pair of numbers in an array of positive integers that sums up to a specified target. Additionally, I had to explain the changes needed to accommodate negative numbers in the array.
- The next 30 minutes were focused on DSA, where I was presented with two questions:
Outcome:
There was a second round; however, I was not shortlisted for it.
