If you are a student and getting ready for off-campus or on-campus placement, then working on aptitude is quite essential. You need to clear the round where all the candidates are judged based on aptitude (quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, etc). But to excel in these placement tests, one should know how important each topic is and how much weightage should be given to it. Knowing this will lead you in the correct direction and help you crack the interview rounds very easily.

1. Numbers

Natural numbers, prime numbers, composite numbers, and integers all are part of the number system which is part of any placement test and is included in essential topics. 

2. Percentage

Many people tend to struggle with percentages as there are many things included in them such as the calculation of complex concepts of profit and loss, compound interest, discounts, etc. But it is a very important topic in the list of aptitude tests required for placement so you must understand it properly and practice thoroughly.

Problems with age are an important topic in many placement exams. These questions seem a bit confusing at first but with continuous practice, one can solve the questions easily.
