My Career Journey After 12th

Last Updated : 4 Oct, 2024

Hello Everyone,

Today, I want to share my admission journey with you in the hope that it might help others facing similar decisions.

When I was in 11th grade, like many students, I had to choose a stream: Science, Arts, Biology, or Commerce. This decision is crucial as it shapes your future. My advice? Take it seriously and think deeply about what you want from life. Imagine going on a trip without knowing your destination—it's tough, right? Knowing where you're headed makes the journey much easier.

Let me take you through my journey.

The JEE Experience

After my 12th-grade results, I scored 73%, which felt pretty average. I took the JEE exam, encouraged by my family, but I was lost because I hadn't yet decided on my goal. Unsurprisingly, my JEE ranking wasn't impressive. It was at this point that I realized I needed to figure out what truly interested me.

Discovering My Passion

That’s when I discovered my passion for computers and technology, something that had always fascinated me during school. My newfound clarity led me to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science at Gyan Ganga College of Technology, Jabalpur, MP.

Life as a B.Tech Student

Currently, I’m in my second year, maintaining a CGPA of 8.25. During this time, I’ve learned multiple programming languages, including C, C++, and Python, and I’ve even explored web development. These experiences have only deepened my interest in technology.

Family Inspiration

My elder brother, who works at Reliance JIO in Data Analytics, has been a constant source of inspiration and guidance. His journey in the tech world has shown me the vast opportunities that lie ahead.

Final Advice

For anyone currently facing admission decisions, my advice is simple: choose your goal wisely. It's not an easy process, but it's essential to explore your interests and make decisions based on them. This is the foundation for a bright and fulfilling future.

Thank you for your time, and I wish you all the best in your journey!
