DESCRIPTION:### Why attend?\n\nMapathons are events where a group of mappe
rs simultaneously contribute to common projects. Attending a mapathon is o
ne of the best ways to improve your mapping skills\, becasue you can learn
from and share ideas with other mappers in real time. It's also an oportu
nity to interact with other contributors\; mapping can at times be quite a
n individualistic activity.\n\nThis Mapathon will take place online! If yo
u wish to attend\, then please [get a ticket](https://www.tickettailor.com
/events/missingmapslondon/1040085) and details for joining will be shared
with you.\n\nThis event is London based in name only! Since we have moved
to virtual events we have been getting attendees from all over the world -
we heartily welcome this!\n\n### Schedule\n\n19:00: Introduction to Missi

Validator Training\n\n21:00: Closing discussion and potential talks\n\n###
What is it?\n\nThe aim of the Missing Maps Project is to map the most cri

able to disasters or experiencing poverty. Both beginners and experienced
mappers are welcome to join this mapathon\, please choose your ticket acco
rding to your level of mapping skills.\n\n### Where will we be mapping?\n\
nWe will be working on high-priority projects requested by the Red Cross a
nd MSF - TBC closer to date!\n\n### What do I need?\n\n- A ticket.\n- A la
ptop/desktop\, an internet connection\, a mouse and enthusiasm (a mouse is
n't absolutely necessary but it makes mapping much faster).\n- An OSM acco
unt.\n\n### Where is it?\n\nThis month we're all mapping remotely!\n\n###
What do I do now?\n\n1. [Get yourself a ticket](https://www.tickettailor.c
