    Sarah Legner

About the author

Sarah Legner is Professor of Civil Law and Business Law and Co-Director of the Institute of Business and Tax Law at Kiel University. She studied law at the University of Tübingen and completed her legal clerkship in Tübingen, Stuttgart and Bonn. After completing her doctoral thesis entitled “Schadenstheorien bei Nachfragemacht im deutschen und europäischen Kartellrecht” (University of Tübingen, 2019), she joined the University of Konstanz as a research assistant. In 2023, she completed her postdoctoral qualification (habilitation) with a thesis on multi-party contracts. Her current research focuses on sustainability issues in competition law and the effects of digitalization on consumer law. She is a member of the editorial advisory board of the journal KIR – Künstliche Intelligenz und Recht.
