Your numbers are way off. Also, if you want to run this planet on electricity alone: you’re going to need a lot more than 20 TW and you will immediately run into mineral extraction limits.

It was never about speed, just constant doubling time for number of widgets per unit of area per unit of cost. That scaling went away a long time ago.

Even if your tools have been all verified with formal proofs you can still attack the hardware directly as a side channel.

4·2 days agoAdrian works in the public sector. You can of course call us being in overshoot a narrative, rather than a physical fact. It won’t make any difference.
Just Oracle would make me happy already.
