ACTA (Acta ad archaeologiam et artium historiam pertinentia) is an international, open access journal hosted by the Norwegian Institute in Rome / University of Oslo and administred by an international Editorial Board in association with the publishing house Scienze e Lettere, Rome. All volumes appear simultaneously online and in print. ACTA publishes articles and studies relevant to archaeology, art, and cultural history of the pre- and early modern world, often, but not necessarily, related to Rome, Italy, and the Mediterranean.
