Jump to the ceiling above where your Mosslet is, then dash to the yellow orb. Jump again and finish dashing across the ceiling. You'll stick for a few seconds. When you fall down the hole on the right you'll get the second yellow orb automatically; change direction and jump again to stick to the new ceiling, then dash along that ceiling to make it to the white bunny-root.
The amount of attention and care that was put into every single aspect of the stages (from their structure/arrangement to the placement of pickups) is insane
A mos(s)t impressive puzzle platformer, easily one of the best i've ever played
Thank you for saying so! Appreciate that you took the time to write this. The game was a joy and challenge to build/design within the PICO-8 constraints. So glad you enjoyed it.
Beautiful game! Loved the look and feel, wonderful concept, wonderfully executed. Great example of simple to learn, fun to master, and introduced new concepts (i.e., clouds and gold power-ups) at a great rate keeping things fresh... and damp if you will. Two suggestions of minor importance. At times I felt the moss appeared too slowly, having to double-back on spots I got, perhaps something like the red turning green more instantly would help this, allowing the lovely growing animation stay slow (or even come slower) once the feedback is instantly felt? As a shamefully admitted completionist, I'd love to have a counter of those special little silver (bunny?, Rook?) tokens to know how many I have left either on top left or on the pause menu? Additionally (and this is more a matter of preference) it would be nice to have a map indicator for rooms containing ones you are missing after receiving the crown? Secrets are fun and satisfying to find without such things but after finishing the game I don't feel too motivated to seek them out not knowing how many left or where to begin to look or even if I have them all.
All in all, still a near-perfect game for me! Thanks for the experience, I shall forever treasure my title as the Moss Prince.
Nice Game. The beginner's guide is clear and easy to understand. The map guide and the flow are providing a good experience. I really like the mechanics of cloud, bubble, and double jump. They all serve the goal of lift/up but in different ways. What needs to improve is the control and the animations. I felt the movement speed was a bit slow. The jump animation is too linear. The moss grow animation is not providing feedback quickly enough. One thing I have noticed is that the dash distance in the air and on the ground is different. Is that on purpose?

I love what people are doing with Pico-8. It's amazing to me to see what people can wring out of a limited system like this.
This is great. Well done!

Phenomenally executed core concept + cute crispy graphics + chunky SFX + creative level design + uber tight controls (>>>dashing)

Really fun game! Love the concept and the gameplay. Also the art style is a big bonus (for me)!
This game is great, thank you for this experience!
This was a really nice game! (Fully mossed in 21:59.)
I found it really annoying going downward in bubble/cloud rooms, but I can tell that's mostly just be not being good enough at movement.
Loved it! You have a new follower. Keen to see what you come up with next.
Hey thank you for following! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Hi, I played your game and made a short about it. Just wanted to let you know.
Thanks for letting me know :) I enjoyed watching this, thank you for making and sharing it.

Thank you! Appreciate the comment. The dash distance was tuned mostly by feel and what felt fair and interesting in the designed rooms.
Loved It <3

After I was done I ate the moss. My HP was mossed out.
