You really need to add an instant defeat item or skill. i'm wiping out the bosses and constant guarding isn't helping them beat me.
Maybe it's just a computer issue or from using a previous save, but sometimes when I get a green space my screen goes black but I can still move around on the world map, it only fixes itself if I enter a combat space.
Had an interesting soft-lock. The painting enemy and Leon had a mime transformation, so Leon's attacks did 0 damage and the player character was stuck in painting. I couldn't take any damage because my defenses had gotten high enough and the bleed status couldn't drop me below 1 hp. Waited nearly 300 turns on auto with the speed as fast as possible hoping to either break out or die from bleed, but no such luck. Had to just close out and restart, which was mildly frustrating after waiting that long. Either, the bleed should kill, breaking the lock, or you should be able to escape the painting somehow. Or give a surrender option, allowing the player to instantly lose a fight. This would allow the interaction to still happen if its intended, while giving the player a way to keep going.
I don't know if its a bug or an intentional change, but I noticed in the new update that after defeating an enemy, it sometimes won't give you increased stats. You also sometimes don't recover any health after losing a fight, so you go into the next encounter with party members perma-dead. There were also times where I would go onto an event of any color and nothing would happen, it would just skip it. I am playing the windows version if that matters.
I also have a suggestion for some QOL although I don't know if it is possible, but would it be possible to allow an option to speed up cutscenes? You can speed up text but not just cutscenes of characters moving, which can end up taking up a lot of time. I have had to restart the game multiple times for several reasons, and the intro not being able to be skipped or fast-forwarded beyond just the text when I have seen it all already can be somewhat frustrating when trying to troubleshoot the game.
Despite my complaints, it is a great game, and I am really excited to see it progress!
Thanks for the bug report, I'll get to fixing those! As for your suggestion, I'm pretty sure you can fast-forward cutscenes in RPG Maker games using the OK button. Unless you mean a different option, in which case I can try and implement that.
I noticed that when I would start a run the gems bought from the blacksmith disappeared when I had them equipped to the main character before entering the elevator. Do I not equip them until the run starts or are they just removed from your inventory no matter what?
It does get deleted if you equip it before a run starts due to the way I set it up the events, so you should probably do it once you enter the first floor. I'm working on changing it in a future update so this doesn't happen anymore, however!
Suggestion: I notice how you would have to make a completely new run to get new events cause I didn't get it and currently got bored because of this so maybe try adding a feature where the map changes completely through an interaction or whenever you reenter the floors just to add replay ability
Just gonna give a real quick suggestion: bind needs to be nerfed. I had to quit the game to reset because the enemies kept applying bind and collared to me, completely removing my ability to do anything. Legitimately, bind is a problem and needs to be fixed. If the player can't do anything for more than 1 turn because of a status, and that status can be applied multiple times in a row without the chance for it to miss, then it is possible for the player to be straight up soft-locked. I hope this gets addressed in the next update.
theres something wrong with the mac version, when i try to use it it just says "game cannot be opened because it is damaged or unfinished" The previous version worked fine so i dont know what the issue is myself
As soon as I start the game, I get thrown out here...This is a bug in 2.0. As soon as I started a new game, I was stuck in a roguelike map and couldn't do anything! I couldn't even see the main character.

After defeating the boss on the 7th floor, an event with a blue icon appeared in the treatment room, so I spoke to the person.
No new playable characters have been added.
This is a bug as no other new events have occurred.
Pretty neat first draft / proof of concept. I like the slay the spire-esque routing and how branches need not diverge forever. The tutorial also shows a lot of promise and the art style is really neat and fun to look at. Can’t wait to see where this goes! :D
(Only real grumble is there’s no formal “end of current content” message; might be useful for playing blind!)
So far, the only transformations are breast expansion and bimbo transformation?

Loving the game so far! It's really unique and I am beyond excited to see where it goes! I do have a question about how much content is in the game currently? Is the game meant to just repeat itself after the first boss on the third floor?
It is! that's the end of the content currently. So more floors will be added in the next updates!

I really enjoy this game. It’s pretty fun and I like it a lot. I don’t really know where to put bug fixes, but I found that in the start of the game before you talk to boss you can get soft blocked in the left elevator if you take it also when you go into the men or women’s restroom and go into the bathroom stalls, the game also soft locks and if you go into the females restroom, it resets the event so no matter how far you get it will spawn the boss event and if you talk to him, it restarts the game back to the into where you meet the wife
Think you may have left a testing skip in v0.1.1 as new game sends the player to the start of the first tutorial run where you meet Leon, skipping over the Intro sequence and initial skill selection. Not sure if this has anything to do with having played v0.1.0.
Very cool game. I think you got the initial proof of concept down quite well and the next steps would be adding more content to it such as more floors, enemies and dialogue etc.
Here are few bugs that I have encountered:
Apart from the bugs I think this overall in a very good place, having unique art is very impressive to see in RPGM games and really helps to elevate the standards of it. Combat will likely need some adjustments I noticed that without particularly aiming for it or buying any upgrades I would reach enough of a DEF stat that no enemies where able to damage me. Maybe make the transformation debuffs a bit more debilitating? From my experience it seems that the transformations are mainly just a minor stat debuff, perhaps have them replace skills to help differentiate them? Additionally on combat would be good to explain the "Brave", "Skill Levels" and "Talk" functions, currently "Talk" doesn't seem to be doing anything.
Other than that, again congrats on the initial release! Hope that you have the motivation to continue as this is a fun little game already.

As for the combat, I'm currently experimenting with the transformations from the card draws and enemies so hopefully by the next big update it won't feel like you're gonna steamroll the enemy or vice versa.
A graphic explaining the extra combat functions were supposed to be added but I haven't finished making all of them, so sorry about that.

also replayed the 1st mission when i went back into the elevator and didnt let me fight the boss again, he just died
