Great game! The core gameplay loop is nice and I can tell how much effort you put into the sprites. There's also a lot of attention to details - the cursor swinging about its axis is a nice addition.
A unique idea i haven't seen before, and I liked the minigame aspect of delivering videos. Cool visuals too so overall a pretty decent game
Greate artwork (I like the thumbnail w) and creative idea! the conecpt a bit similar with my game too
I like the mini-game phase, perhaps can be more variation. Also, I think can add some background music would be better
Overall welldone!
great visuals, unique interpretation, and also i'm a sucker for undertale. could do with audio though, and some of the attack patterns feel very cheesable. overall nice job!
Really fun and innovative game! I loved the concept—mixing time management with bullet hell mechanics is such a unique combo. The visuals are charming, and the UI feels clean and intuitive. The viewer preference system adds a surprising amount of strategy too. Great job Sphyx and Nooarth, you nailed it! 👏🔥
I really did not understand the point and the theming to this. The idea is really neat with customizability and a good pacing with the minigames, I just had zero clue what my actions were doing to either help or hurt me. I definitely see the potential here with great use of shaders to give visual oomph (alas no sound). More signalling.
Yes, more feedback is definitely more apt. As we didn't have time for a tutorial in-game, for now, I recommend you check the how to play section of the description. You're supposed to keep viewers engaged all the time (keep them in the loop), so you deliver their next video. When they finish their current video, they move on to the next. As long as they watch, you earn points. If you keep them waiting when they finish a video, you lose points. You then try to find their favorite categories through trial and error and note those down, which give more points. That's it! Would appreciate if you could perhaps give it another shot.
The idea is interesting. The levels are possible and I liked the moment when I started losing SP because I forgot to buy new categories of videos. It felt real ^^
This was chaotic in the best way! Took a bit to get the hang of everything, but once I did — I was hooked. Love the mix of multitasking and bullet hell. Really unique idea, well done!
Very unique and creative concept! The art and UI are gorgeous too. Well done!
I like the art. The patterns in the bullet hell sections were maybe too easy, there are quite a few safe spots in the hammer one for example where you don't have to move at all. I like the idea of juggling videos and keeping viewers happy, but I found it pretty difficult to keep up and not always lose SP after a while.
Good visuals, good humour/narrative. Could do with some audio too. I could see this being a good little game with some extra polish and more minigames.
Thanks! Yes, in the hammer one you can just stay in between the nails. Just didn't have a lot of time to iterate on them hence the lack of variety in bullet patterns. I also wanted to add the grazing mechanic from Deltarune which would give you additional SP when close to bullets, for some risk-reward.
As for SP, yeah, the balancing is quite off right now, you get too many viewers too quickly and that ends up backfiring. In its current state, you can choose to just engage with ~4 viewers and that will be a smoother experience.
Though we do want to work on an update to clean these things up, add more variety, and the grazing mechanic, so keep an eye out!
Visuals are great, bullet hell sections feel very polished, too bad there aren't that many of them. I think more minigames and some music/sounds could take the experience to another level. Good job!
The visuals are cool and the idea is interesting, I just didn't really understand what I had to do. But definitely an interesting vibe!
Well, about that... We wanted to have a tutorial but didn't even have time for a main menu so.. hope the "how to play" bit in the page description helps for now.
You I feel you, the time constraint is a real pain in the ass sometimes! Haha. But you did well with the time you had!
By the way, it would be really cool if you could also check out my game! :)
The visuals were super cool, and the game was very juicy and nice in that respect! Audio would've been so huge. The video titles were hilarious as well. It was tough for me to see the connection between the gameplay and the video stuff, so maybe changing the UI somehow could make that better? Great work overall!
that "while(true) continue;" hurted my soul.... other than that, really fun concept and game! Great job
Agree with a lot of the other players that a bit of music could've really helped nail the vibes! Great art, simple yet satisfying gameplay, and I think this conceptually stunning. Really nice work, especially for such a short time period.
Really liked the art in this!
Cool art style, audio would have taken it to the next level
This is next level!
Thanks! Means a lot 🙏
I am very fond of the art style and concept. It could've used some sfx and variety in gameplay. Also felt a little grindy. Other than that I loved it conceptually, good job!
Thank you! I wanted to add an adaptive BGM that starts playing a breakbeat during the bullet hell segments but yeah... lol
Will probably work on an update post-jam
The art and the polish are great; I love the look of your game and your unique take on the theme. It is sad that the music and audio could not be completed in time. My only criticizm is that with the amount of minigames, it does get repetitive after playing for a while, maybe the categories could have been a little cheaper or the pending time shortened (Since you didn’t have much time for a variety of minigames). Overall solid game and entry!
Hey, thanks! Yeah, the balancing is a bit off, some things just kind of came together at the last second. Though you can decide to not engage with more than ~4 viewers to give yourself an easier time.
Also, besides one, the bullet patterns were made in the last 3 hours or something 💀
