Feels so clasic retro!!
haha glad to hear it. I was going for an NES game. Thanks for playing!! <3
Fun! The sound effects are nice and punchy, the bounding bullets are fun, evading the enemies is satisfying.
The second level has some issues with the missing walls, but since you're only there to interact with the console it is quick.
Good job! :)
Oh thank you! I didn't notice that. Yeah you're only in there for a minute so I lucked out on that one haha. Thanks for playing!!
Here's a video of my playthrough, which contains my feedback. I play your game at 3:09:33
Oh wow you went above and beyond! Thank you. I'll be sure to watch it. Thanks for playin! <3
Fun!
Awesome! Thanks for playing! :D
Cute art style. The bouncing bullets were a nice addition. Would appreciate it if you would try my game https://to-team.itch.io/what-kills-you-makes-you-stronger
100% I'll give it a try! Thank you for playing <3.
Visual is great. Bouncing bullet is a nice touch.
Yeah haha. That was a suggestion from my partner. Thanks for playing <3!
Love the Contra inspired visuals, feels like an 8-bit action movie. I think if the camera was pulled back or if the enemies were slower, it would prevent some cheap deaths. Couldn't find where to go in level 2 :(
Fair criticism, Working this game was very arduous, and I would've spent more time on the balancing looking back. Thank you for playing!
I love how at first the game is no joke difficulty-wise, but then you figure out what to do and it becomes a breeze. Sort of like with other time-loop games, once you know what to do, you can finish the game without any problems.
Really like the tileset you created, and character/enemy sprites.
Ricocheting gun really helps to even out the chances against bullet-spongy enemies.
Very cool game, visually kind of reminds me of Amiga games.
Aww thank you! It means a lot to hear that. I was going for a NES-Amiga style haha so i'm glad it came across in the visuals. Thank you for playing <3
Fun game! Perhaps you should increase the player's field of vision and increase the player's damage a little to make it a little easier.
Aw thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback! Yeah you're right It is a bit claustrophobic. If I choose to remake this game in the future I will take that into account. <3
