A really interesting game. I'm generally kind of bad at these types of puzzles, but I got what was going on more or less. The reset being a giant snowstorm that lifted me back to the top level was completely unexpected - nice twist. Thanks for sharing :D
Thank you a lot for playing!
There is a bit of a story going on with some clues hidden a bit everywhere. It's based of Outer Wilds which is a game with a lot of puzzles like this. Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool entry. I have bought OW and I really want to play it, but haven't found any time for it yet. Really looking forward to it!
Very nice job, I liked reading and decipher all the text. ;D
Thank you a lot for playing!
I'm pretty happy with how the text decipherment turned out! i'm glad you liked it!
Sadly i never played outer wilds, but its in the list, i must know nothing about it! If this game “copies” outer wilds, outer wilds must be really amazing, well done :D
Thank you for playing!
Year if you want to play OW, don't spoil yourself on anything, but I hope my game can give you a foretaste of what's waiting for you!
I’ve never played Outer Wilds but I’ve heard amazing things about it. I liked your game’s mechanic of having a limited amount of time to discover things about the world, so maybe it’d be right up my alley. Good work!
Thank you for playing!
If you want to play Outer Wilds, I strongly recommend you don't look anything up, either before or while you're playing. It's a game where you must discover by yourself and even if it takes you a bit, i strongly really recommend it!
Congrats on making this alone in 4 days ! Good choice of music, I wonder what you could do if you had an entire team.
Thank you a lot!
I did my best to propose something with the best quality i could, at the cost of some sleep and social life haha!
The Visuals are amazing, I really liked the snake statue in the building. The deciphering animation was really cool. Great submission🙌. this Ouroboros symbol was also really cool

Thank you a lot!
I really like the Ouroboros and i wanted to make a game with it in it so here it is!
all of that in just 4 days?? amazing!
i love Outer Wilds, really well done!
this goes into my best of GTMK GameJam collection
Thank you a lot, i'm very greatful for your comment!
As a junior solo dev and not that much experience in game designing, I did my best this year to, first finish the game, but also make the player feel something a bit similar to OW. I'm glad you liked it, thank you for playing
That was pretty cool, i liked the escaperoom/puzzle vibe and the deciphering effect created a unique atmosphere!
Thank you for playing!
I'm glad you enjoyed your time in my game !
I like this kind of puzzle game, really enjoyable! Great job!!!
Thank you a lot for playing!
I did my best during the full four days and i'm pretty proud of what i accomplished, so i'm glad if you enjoyed it!
It looks really good for a game that was made in such a short time! Definitely a lot of respect!
Thank you a lot!
While not really optimised, i really wanted to make the player feel sensations and be kinda immerged in the game and the story.
You definitely succeeded!
By the way, it would be amazing if you could also rate our game! :)
for sure! i'm trying to try evey game that comments on mine! (it can take a little time if it's not a browser game lol)
i’m a big fan of Outer Wilds and I have to say I loved this one! Good job
Thank you a lot for playing and your feedback!
I did my best to make it feel as interesting and good as OW and i'm glad you liked it
The world is built really well and the game is great to explore and try to solve the puzzle. I also liked the music. Great game.
Thank you a lot for playing!
I'm glad you liked the world design considering i spent 2 days (and lost 2 days lol) creating the map lol.
Really liked the decipher thing, pretty interesting. The 3D assets fit nice as well, love the atmosphere. I just didnt like that the snow would raise so fast I couldnt explore enough each day. But awesome game xD
Haha yes thank you for playing! The snow was one of the first few things I coded, and I didn't really came back to it (I didn't really got any feedback on it lol)
I should have made the night a tad shorter than the day but well I didn't lol, and I think it would be even more long to be stuck in the hole lol
Thank you again
Talk about wearing your influence on your sleeve lol. But seriously amazing job.
haha yes it was a tad bit inspired lol
Thank you a lot for playing tho
It's like im in some king of outer wild. The puzzle was really satisfying and I liked the world building.
Thank you a lot for playing!
Yeah the main inspiration was clearly outer wilds and I'm happy to know you felt it too!
Wow, I can't believe you captured some of that Outer Wilds vibe in such a small jam game! This game definitely wears its inspiration on its sleeve. I liked the ideas, and I managed to get the sun ring (cool puzzle), but I had no clue how to find the hidden temple! If I had one critique it would be: in Outer Wilds, no piece of text is wasted, nothing is just for flavour, every single passage has a clue towards some part of the grand puzzle. In this game, it felt a little bad when I would wait for the translator to finish, just to see some flavour/story text and no clues towards the hidden temple! Anyway, I did enjoy what I played of it, and thought it was a great entry :)
to be fair in this game no piece of text is wasted, and yea, the only piece of advice for the hidden temple was the one in the temple , but i felt like the map wasn't that big and i firgured player would find it pretty easily, as it was kinda obvious to me lol!
if you're on the GMTK discord and wants some clue, please feel free to dm me, got the same username.
I'm sorry it didn't feel as good as OW, i did my best. Thank you for playing tho!
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that your game didn't feel as good as OW! The reason I couldn't find the temple is probably more to do with me being stupid than the game, but I would have liked some other hints, is all I was suggesting.
if you ever choose to try again the game, i suggest you wanders on the top layer, day or night, you'll should find something weird. But if you won't no worries lol, i'm not advertising, i'm just proud of my work lol
THE OUTER HOLE (i fell into it)! This game is such a wonderful love letter to the Outer Wilds, from the deciphering and lore to the snow storms revealing new paths! I do wish there was a way to fast forward time so I didn't have to wait around too long
Haha yea the time flows pretty slowly when you're trapped in a certain place lol, but i figured the parts when you really need to wait are kinda overshadowed by some exploration to do, and the time was like *420 or something like that compared to real hours lol, so yeah sorry.
Thank you for playing tho, hope you still had a great time!
This one made me smile. I love Outer Wilds as well, this little tribute feels fantastic. During our brain storming phase I personally wanted to use this knowledge based approach if we ever had a more narrative idea, so I'm glad someone pulled that off. Huge achievement for a 4 day jam.
thank you a lot!
"Huge achievement" and let me tell you, very hard to do solo for a full end dev with 0 base in Game Design lol, i had fun while making it tho, but the 15 hours sleep post jam hit hard lol
I feel you, I was lucky to have found such a solid team for this one, and we still couldn't iterate enough and had some rough moments. I'd struggle a lot more if I were to tackle this on my own. You were ambitious but worked really hard and it shows, I'm I glad I got to play your game, really enjoyed it.
Thank you a lot for this comment <3
This make me think of The Outer Wilds, very lovely vibe
it was heavily inspired by it yeah!
thank you for playing tho!
The music is very nice and the environment feel cozy to spend few days in and figuring out what to do. The story was nice and the puzzles were fun!
Thank you a lot for playing!
thank you also for liking the environment lol, i spend 2 days creating the map and a few hours imagining and writing the life of the snake peoples!
