I'm an Arch user, through and through. However, NixOS definitely intrigued me since I first learned of it.
I took an old laptop today. I installed it. I even installed a few packages, and I learned how to rebuild along with that. Along with test and switch parameters.
I even switched to Zen kernel. And learned to extend the base configuration to other Nix files with imports.
i know, all basic stuff. Now to learn a bit more tomorrow.







Can't speak on the second half of this; but GrapheneOS in light of this have outlined their security in a post to the community. I would argue their education of their user base is there.
