We recently (October 2022) merged the CSS branch of Textual.

The was such a large update, that most issues for the 0.1.x branch are probably already addressed in this new version. Which is why we are closing this issue or PR.

If it is still a problem in the CSS branch, feel free to re-open the issue (or a new issue).

Thanks for being an early-adopter! Textual will now return to regular updates and releases. We will also aim to respond to issues much quicker in the future.
