Area '0.0' is < min response '0.1'

Hi,
I am using a batch job to process by HPLC chromatograms. I am using the external standard quantification method (ESTD) where I have added my calibration data.
The batch jobs works really nice (baseline correction, peak detection, area filter, peak identification and integration) till the point where it should quantify the peaks after peak integration. It calculates a concentration of 0.000 with the flag that area 0.0 is < Min Area even if the integrated areas are well above 0.0.
The batch job saves the chromatograms as .ocb. When I open a processed chromatogram and perform the ESTD manually the issue doesnt appear and the peaks are correctly quantified.
What could be the issue with the batch job?

You are including your blanks in the calibration. Don't do that. You can't measure "zero" with any instrument. Just quantify them like samples and see how blank they really are or subtract the blank chromatograms for every measurement to account for instrument background.

When I remove the blanks I still get the same issue. Area '0.0' is < min response 'lowest calibration area'. So where could the area of 0.0 still come from?

Also when "quantification even if area is lower than the min area of the calibration" is enabled, no more quantification is performed and the quantitation report is basically empty.

Use Peak Filter - Delete Quantitations (needs the checkbox ticked) to remove the quantitation with zeros. By default quantitations are not overridden but appended. I removed the blanks from the quantitation curve and exported (blue button with arrow) the settings. CompoundCalibrations.ccl.zip I then selected Peak Quantifier - Compounds and Equivalents (ESTD) and imported the .ccl file to rerun the quantitation. That gives me quantified results. You can display them by enabling more windows in the main toolbar.

Hi, thank you for the reply. I now no longer get the Area < min response error with the peak filter. But the peak quantification is only working when the ESTD Quantifier is manually executed (after running the batch process). When I use my batch process (samimilar to the one I uploaded just with the additional peak filter before the ESTD quantification) nothing is quantified and the quantifier is empty.

By default, batch processing can't edit an existing process setting to fill in the correct values. We address this limitation in our commercial workflow products.
