2·1 day agoThat’s what a breakthrough means. But obviously all the funding is burned up in more DCs with incremental iteration on the same design. So the bubble has to pop for real innovation. But I think this coming AI winter will be permanent, as things are very visibly falling apart.

25·2 days agoNot could. It’s a mathematical certainty that it will. Barring a breakthrough miracle – fat chance.
There are already solar panels you can walk on. You can façade-integrate them. I guess this is fine as drop-in replacement for existing eternite fiber-reinforced roofs though.
If you want to know where this is all going, look at the Internet in Russia.

Looking at the profile it was a high volume poster. Perhaps a bot? Need to look at instance mod log to see the reason.
There are too many innumerate optimists handwaving vigorously to address. If we feed these even more will come.
I think it makes more sense to cater to those who’re already in the know.
