The birth of Emery May

I am the most horrible blogger, but my life doesn't allow for a lot of time to do it.

Which makes me super sad, I want to remember all these memories.

I want to remember Emery's Birth, so i'm gonna start with that!

Thursday April 4th I had my 38 Week appt. My doctor was out of town, so I was seeing one of his partners. At my 36 week, and 37 week appts. I was dialated to a 3 and 70% effaced (by Dr. Wards measurements,) So i was so worried going into my 38 week appt. with a different doctor, she was going to tell me I was only a 1 or 2. Which all you moms know would be a huge disappointment.

But no I was a 4 and 90%. I was so excited, only down side , was my doctor was going to me out of town for another couple days. Which I was shcduled to be induced in a couple days, but that did not work out as planned.

So I went home, called my friend Denise who was also pregnant, and scheduled to be induced in a couple days as well, and told her my stats, and she told me hers, She was the Exact same as I was, 4 and 90%

So we talked, and planned to go walking later that night, to start our labor.

We walked around our neighborhood, I think 3 times. Before going our seperate ways, we both told each other that "if you go into labor and I don't, i'm gonna be ticked!"

Well.....It all started around 2:45AM, I woke up for some reason, I didn't know what woke up me at that point, I wasn't in pain or anything. and then a few min. later I woke up again, and couldn't go back to sleep. I realized I was contracting. So I decided to time them, at this point I for sure knew I was contracting. They were 4 min. apart. I didn't want to be that lady that goes to the hospital and gets sent home, so I stayed home and timed them for an hour.... I then decided to wake Zach up, and let him know that it was time. That we needed to start heading up to the hospital.

Well he decided to take his time, He stayed in bed for a few min, and kept asking if I was sure, then he decided he wanted to hurry and shower, which was fine, because we had to wait for his sister to get there, so she could stay with the kids. But by the time he was done and ready to go, I could barely walk. I was contracting every 3 min. and they would last about 1min 15 sec. So I had to stop alot, and breathe through them. We finally got to the hospital around 530. They checked me and I was only a 5. But I was For sure ready for the epidural.

So at about 630 I got the epidural put in. After that my contractions started to really slow down, I think they were 7 or 8 min. apart. so my doctor (my doctors partner) decided to break my water and start me on pitocin. Which sped things up a bit.

For some reason I kept getting really sick, I had to be laying down pretty flat not to feel really dizzy and lightheaded. At one point I was feeling really nauseated and thought i was going to pass out. So the nurses came in and gave me some oxygen, and laid me down.

The sad thing about it, is sense I was feeling so crummy, I don't remember a lot of what was happening.

At about 10 I felt like I was ready to push. So they checked me and was a 10, but I still had a little bit of a rim, i wasn't totally thinned.

About 15 min. later they called the doctor in, the rim was gone, and I was ready to push.

I absolutely LOVED this doctor, she was so considerate of all my needs and wants. She made sure I was getting my perfect delivery.

I started pushing, I think i pushed 4 times and the head was crowning, so she asked if I wanted to reach down and feel my babies head ( which may sound super weird, but it is such a special thing) So through the next push I reached down and felt her coming out. It was such an amazing experience.

Then I pushed a couple more times and she was out, they put her right on my chest (which i LOVED) and i heard her little cry for the first time, and I knew I was smitten!

This delivery was a little different, I had two other children to worry about as well. I had Aubrea bring them up, so they saw me right before I delivered, We explained what was happening today, that they were going to have a new sister, and that she wouldn't be in mommy's belly anymore. Then Aubrea took them out to the waiting room, While i delivered, and then after they cleaned me all up, I had them bring Kypton and Bronco right in, so they could kind of understand what had just happened.

It was so beautiful to see them meet their little sister for the first time. Kypton LOVED her, He just wanted to hold her, and never give her up. It was so sweet.

Bronco on the other hand didn't want anything to do with me, or baby. I think it was really hard for him to see me hooked up to all those machines and in a bed like that. It broke my heart. I cried everytime he came to visit because he wouldn't come to me. It got to the point that I didn't want him to come visit, because it just broke my heart too much.

But now he is totally in love with her and can't get enough. He is constantly giving her kisses! And lucky for me, he still loves me and wants me all the time.

Here are some pictures...I'm sure none of this makes sense. Its sad to me that its all a blur, sense i really didn't feel good.

Birthday Boy

One year ago today, My sweet little Bronco entered into this world!

My life has been forever changed!

Bronxy boy is such a happy, goofy, loving, special little boy.

He def. adds a special piece to our family puzzle, and I love watching him and Kypton interact so well together. You can tell just by watching them together, how much Bronco adores his brother, and looks up to him.

he is my little brown haired cutie, I love having a blondie, and a darky.

Makes us so happy!

Motherhood

My mind is exploding, and emotions are high, and i'm hoping its just because i'm pregnant and not because i'm really going crazy!

I'm hoping other moms will read this, and PLEASE leave your thoughts and advice.

As i'm preparing to bring another child into this world, and into our family I can't help but reflect on my life right now, and question how i'm going to do it.

I feel like I can barely handle the 2 crazy boys that I have.

For the most part I feel like i'm a good mom, I know they're taking care of, and they are happy, But I don't feel like i'm living in the moment. I feel like i'm running through the motions of life, but not taking the time to enjoy it. It makes me sad.

I'm one that has always enjoyed life, I have a LOVE for life. And I'm one to not let things get to me, i just go with the flow.

Being a mom is by far the HARDEST, Most REWARDING thing i've ever done.

And i'm NO pro at it, I try to do my best.

And I really don't want to take this time for granted, because I know it won't last long!

I need to take a step back and not let the stress of everyday life ruin these precious moments I get to have as a stay at home mom.

So as I prepare for Sweet little Emery to come into this world, I'm going to focus on enjoying everyday, and not just go through the motions of What motherhood brings, and being a housekeeper and wife brings.

I've let it overtake me, as if i'm drowning.

Motherhood is such a special blessing from my Heavenly Father, Its hard but its precious and rewarding.

I'm grateful I live in a community where there are so many other moms in same situations, that I can turn to and ask for advice, or even talk to, and know that i'm not alone in this journey!

New Year New starts

Wow, Its been a super long time sense i've posted! But I'm starting to realize how important it is to keep up on my blogging. I'm gonna look back and feel like i've missed out on so much.

My goal is to not make my 2nd and 3rd kid feel like I forgot about them, and don't care what cute things they are doing....because I really do. I'm just more busy now!

Yes I did say 3rd KID!!! I can't believe it either. We will be welcoming little Emery Girl sometime around April 17th.

I'm really excited for a little girl to be running around in this crazy house of ours, but i'm also really nervous! 2 Kids is a lot to handle, especially when your husband works and goes to school more than full time, so 3 kids i'm getting pretty nervous about!

I'm really excited for Emery to have 2 big brothers to protect her. That gives me lots of comfort.

I'm not going to try and catch up or else I will feel super overwhelmed and probably give up. So i'll start fresh from right where we're at in life!

I'm 26 1/2 weeks pregnant, I feel GREAT. No major problems

Kypton is 2 1/2. He is at such a fun age!! He is still obsessed with sports, his favorite being baseball and basketball. Thats all he really talks about. He is talking a ton. I would say he pretty much can carry on a normal conversation just like any other human being. Its so fun to hear all the funny things he picks up on. My favorite being "Oh Shit" I know it shouldn't be my favorite thing he says...but its all in innocence. And he only says it when he is playing "sandlot" He'll pretend to throw a baseball over the fence, and have "the Beast" chase him. He's so much fun and brings so much happiness and laughter into our home!

Bronco is 10 months old. He is growing up too FAST! He is such a good kid, I couldn't ask for better babies. He is so happy, and sleeps so good! He has just found his tongue, and loves to make awesome noises with it. He is such a mommies boy, which I LOVE! He has such an independent personality, I try to give him lots of cuddles but he just wants his own space. He is Def. a little home body. He stresses and gets auntsy when were anywhere but home, and as soon as we get home he is so happy, and crawls around as if he owns the place. Kypton and Bronco are still trying to get used to each other. Kypton is quite sure how to interact with him....kyptons way of interacting is to tackle and wrestle and play sports. He doens't quite understand that he is still just a little baby. Bronco puts up with a lot, i'm sure he'll be a tough little guy!

Cheers to a New year, and Hopefully I can keep up on my blogging! Even with adding a 3rd child to the mix! I'm gonna try really hard!!

a look into the not so glamorous side of motherhood. . .

Often times reading blogs, it makes life look so perfect. And most the time its not far from perfect. . . Everything I wanted and dreamed of. But those dreams have the Not so good sides too.

So as perfect as my last two post have my life seem, let me just give you the other side to my life.
Today I feel very lonely. A single mom. With Zach going to work at 630am and school till 10pm. I struggle! How do I juggle two kids? How do I give kypton the attention he once was used to, while Bronx is screaming to be fed. How to comfort Bronx while kypton is throwing a fit for not letting him go outside when it's dark outside. How to get kypton in the bath and to bed, while Bronx is screaming from a belly ache.
How do you do it? I don't know what the heck im doing? And how to do it alone?
As hard as today as seemed, I know it will get better, there,s always tomorrow to try a little harder.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense. My emotions are raw and at the surface.
MOTHERHood is hard, yet I wouldn't choose to be anywhere else.

Im learning everyday, and hopefully kypton will understand that im doing my best to divide my attention equally. And that I love him just as much as I did before, if not more! And hopefully Bronx can feel my love for him, and not just my stress.

And besides all that, I hope at the end of the day when Zach is home, he can feel my love for him, and not just all my crazy emotions.

Kypton has always been PERFECT in my eyes, and I didn't think I could LOVE him anymore then I already did. . . But there is something about him being a BIG brother, that warms my heart, and brings on a whole new LOVE.

The Birth of Bronco

I don't even know where to start! This birth couldn't have gone any better. It was a MILLION times easier then the birth of Kypton. It was everything I could have imagined, and more! It was simply PERFECT!

At my 37 week appt. I was dialated to a 3, and 70% effaced( moms will know what that means) so I was def. getting ready for this baby to come. My doctor scraped my membranes a little bit, to help me make some more progress. At 38 weeks I went back in, and was about the same. My doctor this time scraped my membranes again, but this time my water broke while sitting on his table, at my appt. So instead of planning on going home, we went straight over to labor and delivery. All this happened around 830.

So we got over to labor and delivery, got all settled. Called my mom and Zachs mom to let them know what was going on. At about 1030 they got my iv going, Pitocin going, and also an antibiotic( i tested Strep B+) Around 145ish the nurse checked me, and I was a 6 and 90%. So I was thinking it was gonna be a couple more hours or so. At around 215, I started getting emotional and scared. I told Zach that I was starting to get uncomfortable, and that I thought I might need to push, to go and get the nurse.

The Nurse came in and checked me, and I was COMPLETE and babies head was close. So the nurse called my doctor. My doctor told her that I needed to try and go 20 more min. or so, to make sure I got all of my antibiotic, so that they didn't have to do any blood work on bronco. ( the antibiotic has to be in the body for 4 hours) So I of course Held through my contractions. That is NOT a fun feeling! I wanted to push sooo bad! My doctor finally got there around 240, I pushed through 2 contractions, and little Bronco Zachary was HERE!! It was such a Beautiful Birth, and everything went perfect!

As I lay here at 330 nursing my sweet angel, I can't help but think about how blessed I am.
this time in our lives, is such a crazy, hectic, sometimes unsure, lonely time. With Zach working and taking on a huge load at school I often feel like a single mom. a lot of the time its hard and tiring taking care of two kids, but I can't help but to feel soooo blessed to have three of the BEST boys in my life! Im a lucky girl!
ZACH- he works so hard for our family. With such a heavy load between work and school, he always makes sure he gets time with us. I LOVE watching Kypton and him wrestle and play, they have such a sweet bond.
KYPTON- he makes me happier than anything in this world. As hard and wild as he can be sometimes, I,ve been blessed with a really good kid. He's the little man of my house right now, and as his mom he makes me feel pretty darn special. He helps out so much, and listens so well(most the time) but he's such a happy go lucky boy, and he can't help but put a smile on my face!
BRONCO- its been so fun having a little piece of heaven in my home. I can't help but hold him and feel so close to my Heavenly Father. To know that not too long ago my Heavenly Father was holding the same little baby as me, WOW what a special thing. Bronx is also such a special blessing. I LOVE the thought of having two little boys running around. I get so excited thinking about how kypton and Bronx will interact, and Kypton taking his little bud under his wings. I love being the only girl, and knowing I have 3 amazing boys that will take care of me. My heart is soo full of happiness. So as hard as this time might seem in our lives, I know im blessed and couldn't be happier!

I know its been forever since I've Blogged, but I need to remember these moments in my life!

Its hard taking the time to blog, when you have a crazy almost 2 year old runnin around.

Also NOT to mention that i'm stuck at home with out a computer eveyday.

BUT I have to mention the arrival of my Baby Boy!

BRONX made his debut on Feb. 27th 2012 @ 2:50 PM

His Birth couldn't have gone any better!

He weighed in at a WHOPPING 6 lbs 2 oz. (soo tiny)

and 20 in.

We're so excited to have him in our family.

I love having 2 little boys (3 including my husband) and Me being the only girl!

I feel like I have 3 men in my life that will take care of me!

I will Post my Birth Story once I get my pictures back!

I want to take a min. and write down my memories and thoughts from this day. Its a day I will NEVER forget. A day that will FOREVER be engraved in my brain.

I was in 8th Grade. I was just about to leave to go catch the Bus for school. The TV was on like always in the morning, I glanced at it, and saw that some BIG building was on Fire. (At the time I had never even heard of the twin towers in New York) Then as I was watching, I saw a Plane heading straight for another building. I was shocked and SCARED. I had NO idea what was happening. As far as I knew it was an ACCIDENT. I was young and would NEVER think something so bad could happen in this good country that I lived in. But as the day went on my feelings quickly changed. I knew something wasn't right. I knew it was an act of hatred.

I get to school, its a different feeling that day. Its kinda quiet. Teachers are standing around the office watching the News.

My first Class, Mr Vendetti's History Class. I remember watching his emotions. He was distraught. (He himself being from New York) his hometown being in crisis.

We watched the News the whole class period.

Along with my next 6 classes.

I watched OVER and Over and OVER again.

The towers falling, people running to safety.

Emergency Crews everywhere.

I didn't want to watch anymore, I was soo Scared.

I just wanted to be home safe with my family.

I remember thinking that we were in trouble, that maybe we were going to be attacked here as well.

I was terrified.

But as the days went on, I remember feeling peace and Unity.

I remember feeling SAFE.

Even Now 10 years later.

I feel SAFE.

Thanks to the MEN and WOMEN that fight for our country

For all the sacrifices they make for me and for my familiy!

My Basketball Champ

I don't know if you know this......BUT this KID is OBSESSED with Basketball!!

He always has a ball with him, and is passing it and shooting it.

He points out all the Basketball hoops we pass, if we're on a walk, and if a game is on TV his world STOPS, and he is glued to the TV.

The weird thing is...somehow he has LOVED basketball sense he was pretty young. He could sit down and watch 30 to 45 min. of a basketball game with Not a single MOVEMENT!

If it goes to commercial, he holds his hands to side and says "huh?"( like where'd it go?)

We LOVE our little Basketball champ so much!!

This 5K was probably one of the funnest ones i've ever done!

It was a big mud Fest, and GIRLS ONLY!!

I LOVED spending time with my mom and sisters!

Wow.....

I've been a Horrible Blogger! But i'm kinda feeling like getting back into the groove of it. I just get so busy, and don't know where to fit it in.

Also being pregnant, i'm still wayyyy TIRED all the time, so in my spare time I want to sleep, instead of play around on the computer!

But i've realized I need to record all these fun moments that are happening in my life right now.
I'm not gonna try and play catch up, but i'll try and stay on top of the things that are going on right now in our lives!

Can you believe that my child is ONE?!?!?

I CAN'T!!!

This little boy is ONE SPOILED child!!

Lets just say his Circus Party was a success.

It was so much fun putting it all together, and even though my husband thought i may have gone over board, I LOVED every second of it!

I'm so grateful to have so many people that LOvE and support Kypton, and our family!

Kyptons Birthday was a little bitter sweet for me, I pretty much cried all morning, looking at pictures of when he was born, and of him growing up. I'm so sad that my little baby boy is growing up, but at the same time Its SO FUN!

Kypton is learning soooo much EVERYDAY, I can't even keep track!

I LOVE that he loves playing with Balls, its like his favorite thing! NOT only to play with them, but he can pretty well watch a WHOLE basketball game, and stay excited about it the whole time! Its the CUTEST thing!!

He has learned to clap, and he pretty much claps at everything.

He gets sooooo excited, he doesn't even know what to do with himself, so he just opens his mouth and sticks out his tongue and slaps the ground as hard has he can.

He makes cute car sounds as he pushes his cars and trucks around, I LOVE that he's all boy!

Kypton LOVES food, he will pretty much eat anything and everything

He doesn't eat baby food really at all anymore.

He is starting to sign a lot of things. . . .More, please, all done, dog, eat, milk.

He can say Mom, Dad and Ball (ba)

He has freak out moments as soon as he sees his bottle. He drops everything and starts to get reeeeaaaaallllly excited, He can hardly wait!

He has 4 teeth, 2 on top and 2 on bottom. I LOVE his Teethy smile, ahhhh it melts my heart.

Especially when I get to wake up to it first thing in the morning.

I LOOK over at his crib, and hes bouncing up and down soooo excited, and he has his big teethy smile on his face! Oh how I LOVE it!

He just started walking. Easter Sunday.

He's still not very confident, and thinks crawling is soo much faster. We're working on it though!

The cutest thing is when he takes a few steps then stops and claps for himself. I LOVE it.

He wears 18 month clothes, and size 3 diapers.

His shoe size is a 4.

He is really good about going to bed, all it takes is a story, a prayer and a bottle, and its right to bed.

No problem at all, It really is easy as that!

I LOVE that.

His bed time is 8 to 830ish.

He takes 2 naps during the day. His first nap at 10, and his second nap at 2 or 3ish.

He is really good about going down for naps as well!

Kypton is a BIG climber. He can climb anything, its amazing, and a little scary!

He Loves the "NO" game. (its not a game to me) if I say NO to something he immediatly thinks its a fun game, and does exactly what he's not supposed to. ( so if anybody has any suggestions on this new stage of teaching him good and bad, would be greatly appreciated!)

Kypton keeps me on my toes, but I LOVE every second of being his mommy!

He is sooo fun, and i'm sure will only get more fun.

He is discovering new things everyday, and i'm soooo lucky to get to watch him grow from being a little baby to very smart little toddler!

I can't wait for the many more years to come, and many more birthday celebrations!

{ An "AW" Defining Moment }

Last night, I was winding down for bed. . . Watching Oprah (I love Oprah)

On her show there were two different stories about families, One who lost there child, and the other one who's baby needed a Heart Transplant to survive.

I couldn't take it, I started to panic, and think about what I would do in their situation. My heart was breaking!!! I wouldn't survive, if I had to go through something like that!!

I couldn't get it out of my mind, and I couldn't fall asleep!!

I NEEDED to hold my Baby RIGHT NOW!

At that Moment, I didnt care what waking him up would do to the rest of my night!

I went and picked him up out of his crib, carried him over to my bed. I set him in between Zach and I.

At first he was tossing and turning, he couldn't get comfortable, Zach and I were trying to hold in our laughs..... We couldn't!

Kypton popped up, and started laughing with us. Then after a minute, he would lay back down and wrestle around before finding somewhere comfortable to slip back into his sweet slumber.

Then AGAIN....We would try not to laugh, but couldn't help it!

Kypton then again, would sit up and smile, and pretend to laugh as if he knew what we were laughing about!

Back again he tried to find a spot to get comfortable, so he could go back to sleep!

I decided this time, it was okay to put him back in his crib, so he could fall asleep.

And I was okay to go to sleep!

I will NEVER take life for granted.

I get so caught up in the routine of things, of making sure Kypton gets his two naps during the day.

And is in bed By 8.

And all night trying to stay quiet, Not to wake him!

I made some amazing memories last night.

Some good Laughs, that I really needed at that moment!

And guess what?? Everything was fine, He slept the rest of the night.

If Ever I need a moment with my son, I won't be afraid to mess up his schedule.

The memories are FAR more important!

One Year Ago Today. . .

I gave Birth to the Most amazing, Special little Boy!!

Today is bitter sweet. I can't believe how fast time flew this past year! I can't believe my baby is ONE!

This past year has changed my life COMPLETELY.....For the better!!

Kypton brings such happiness and Love into our home. A happiness and Love that no one else can give a mom, or dad!

This past year has been the happiest time of my life, but also the most challenging! A challenge that I have LOVED, and that has taught me more about myself as a Mother and as a wife then anything else!

I have had a spirit in my home, that no one else could bring me! Its amazing how close the Veil is when you have one of Heavenly fathers Infants in your home! I have felt his spirit more then any other time in my life!

I have gained a stronger testimony about eternal families, and also the plan of salvation!

I KNOW Heavenly Father created this PERFECT child just for me!!

I feel a GREATER responsibility to LIVE a Stronger life in the Gospel. I want to please my Heavenly Father, and Raise Kypton in a way that he can have a strong Relationship with his Father in Heaven, and return to live with him!

I LOVE Kypton soo MUCH! I'm so lucky to be his MOM!

We have a FUN day planned. . . More like a FUN week!

I'm SUPER behind. . .

So i'm going to attempt to catch up as much as I can!

This is Kypton's 11 month Post! EVEN though this picture is for his 1 year pictures, they were really taken when he was 11 months old. So it counts! ( Its just a sneak peak to some other SUPER cute pictures!!)

Kypton is becoming more FUN everyday, I didn't think it was possible, because I already think he is at the cutest age, and the most fun! BUT he learns new things everyday. . . NO KIDDING!

My Favorite NEW thing that he does is "TOUCH DOWN"

He Throws his arms straight up into the air whenever we say TOUCH DOWN, Its the cutest thing!

Another favorite thing is when he says "uh oh" in his language its "oh" and he holds his hand out to the side. He does this whenever he drops something, and he thinks its a FUN game for mommy to pick up whatever he drops!

Oh yah, and I totally forgot my all time FAVORITE new thing( that he just started doing like 2 hours ago) He gives kisses, NOT ONLY does he give kisses, but he pulls my head to his head with both hands, and kisses my lips or my nose! ahhh.....I've been waiting for this day to come for a LONG time!

He makes me ONE HAPPY MAMMA!!

Biggest Loser update!

As you can tell from my last post i had a major set back from the intensity of this Competition! I couldnt really exercise last week, and i was so sick of the hospital food, that i pretty much ate whatever anybody brought me! So def. i wasnt eating my right Healthy foods. . . But the stress of it all paid off!! I still LOST 4lbs.

A Glimpse into our Crazy Week!

My Cute sister in law has put together a lot of way CUTE videos. .. So i thought i would give it a try, with all the pictures from the past week! Its NOT the greatest, but it's something I can always remember, and something Kypton can look back on when he's older!

This past week has been soo CRAZY to say the least! I NEVER expected to be hanging out at primary childrens for a whole week!

It all started Sat. Kypton had gotten a little cold, just a cough and a little runny nose, but he also had a tooth coming in, so I thought it very well could just be him teething! Then Sunday comes arounds. . . He had gotten worse over night! He had a high fever, wasn't acting himself at all. He was really cuddly and really Tired! I told Zach that i thought we should take him in to get checked, and Zach suggested that it was just a cold, to just wait and see how he acted through out all of sunday. Sunday night, He was SOOO sick! He had a way high Fever, he was super out of it, to the point when he would open his eyes they would just roll back in his head, and he would go back to sleep! He couldn't even stay awake! So I made Zach let me take him in! ( I felt very strongly that I needed him to be seen!) We took him in to the Bountiful Insta Care, and they said he had RSV, they didn't test him, because they would treat it the same either way. So we just passed on getting him tested! They sucked him out with a blue Bulb, and sent us home! Monday came around and he was still way out of it, and way tired. So i took him into his Pediatrition, they Deep throat sucked him out( stuck a small tube down his down, and suctioned out all the mucos) It was so sad as a mom to watch! He looked at me for help, but I couldn't do anything, My heart was BROKEN! His Oxygen levels were pretty low, but not low enough that they thought he needed to be on oxygen! We made a follow up appt. for Tuesday, so they could see how he was doing after being suctioned. Tuesday He was still sooo sick, WORSE! We had an appt. at 320, but I didn't feel like i could wait that long, so I called to see if i could get in earlier! They fit me in at 120. We made our way up there. They tested his oxygen levels, they were at 87( they're supposed to be at 100, anything under 90 they pretty much put them in the hospital) we decided that he should have a breathing treatment, and also another Deep suction! So they did that, and checked his levels after the treatments.....STILL between 88-92. My doctor really didn't like Kyptons energy level. He wasn't very responsive. She told me that she thought we better take him up to Primary, and that she would call them before hand and let them know we were on our way, so that He WOULDN"T have to WAIT!

We got to primary, they took us right back! They checked his oxygen level. . . 73!! NOT GOOD! that really scared me! At that point I knew it was serious! They did another breathing treatment, and another deep suction, nothing was changing! They put him on Wall Oxygen... .Not working, They finally had to put him on a high flow oxygen, which requires to be up in ICU, so they can keep a good eye on him! The Doctor came in, and told me that they were gonna start an IV to get him hydrated, and that we should prob. plan to stay for a good 3-7 days! I was SHOCKED!! I didn't not expect to have stay there that long, Nor Have Kypton be put in ICU! It was a very scary experience! Even though it was very emotional for me, and very hard as a mother to watch, I felt VERY comforted through it all! (thanks to all the many prayers)

He only had to be in ICU for 1 day. He was doing a lot better, still not up to par, but better than he had been the last few days! They moved us down to Infant Care. He was still on High flow, but they were slowly turning it down, until they could have him on just Wall Oxygen( wall oxygen only goes up to 2L. of oxygen, and its a mix of room air, the High flow goes up to a level 6, which is where he started) After we moved down, he slowly just kept getting better. . . After MANY Deep throat Suctionings!(which is the hardest thing to watch!)

But I'm sooo glad we finally got to go home! and That Kypton is doing sooo Well! He's a completely different baby! He's soooo happy, and full of energy! I LOVE it!

We were there a Total of 5 days, But the STAFF was amazing! They were soo good to Kypton, and took such great care of him!

Thanks again, for all the Prayers, the text messages, and the calls! They meant a lot!!!

My baby Boy 10 months old. . .

Once again i'm way behind, i've just been super busy lately! But i'm playing catch up!!

Kypton is getting more and more fun everyday!

has no teeth ( but a top one coming in)

loves watching baby signing time

signs "all done" and "Milk"(but he thinks milk just means more)

can stand without holding on to anything for up to 5 seconds

Hates walking while holding peoples hands

is super independent (wants to do everything himself)

sleeps with 2 binki's (one in his mouth and one in his hand)

Loves books

has the blondest hair and bluest eyes! ( i LOVE it!!)

He has learned how to throw fits

wears a size 3 diapers

jibber jabbers a ton!

wears size 12 to 18 months

weighs 17 lbs. 10 ounces

2 more months (really 1) till I have a ONE year old!!!!

Kypton I LOVE you so much! I look forward to everyday with you! You make your daddy and I soo happy! I thank Heavenly Father every night for blessing me with you in my life!

I didn't get measured this last week, but i'll get measured Tom. So I'll know how many inches i've lost as well!

YAY! I'm so excited! Its been a lot of fun, and my trainers have been working my BUTT OFF!

I've also been doing a lot of Zumba and Body Jam classes for my Cardio days!

5lbs Down, 31 lbs to go! (that seems like a lot, wowzer!)

Valentines Day

(I'm a little Late!)

FIRST we made little Valentines for our Family! We got this way CUTE idea from Haley over at Life is Sweet !

All our family Members LOVED It! ( Kypton loved it as well!!)

For Actual Valentines Day. . . We went and visited Grandma Walker, while daddy went and got us a surprise!

Grandma Walker got Kypton a CUTE little outfit, and Little car and a VERY loved Rice Crispy Treat!

(Kypton LOVES all the treats he gets from Grandma!)

He Liked the bag more then his Valentine Surprise! (isn't his little Valentine shirt so cute!?!? Even though you can't see what it says very good. . . Its says "Love Stinks" with a little skunk! )

I am so mad at myself. . . because i didn't get pictures of our valentine Date night!

We first went to Texas Road house with Zachs parents, and just a little appetizer, and sat and talked with them! Then later we went to Mikado for some YUMMY SUSHI!!! mmmmm.....I LOVE me some Good sushi! Then we went to "just go with it" the movie!! It was soo good and so funny!!

My Valentine Surprise from Zach was a Pretty Bracelet!( that he made!!!!!!!) I didn't know zach knew how to make Jewelry! It had Zach, mine, and Kyptons Birthstones on it, with the CUTEST clasp, and a little tag that said "made with LOVE"

I have an AMAZING husband!

I hope you all had a Wonderful Valentines day!

P.S Kypton is 10 months!!! please leave me your ideas for his birthday party!!!

Fiber One Chicken

( I dunno if that's what its really called, but that's what I'll call it!)

So I dunno if this picture really makes it appetizing, BUT.....IT IS! (and another major bonus, ITS HEALTHY!!)

I cut all my chicken breast so that they were in 6 oz. pieces( you don't have to do that)

Dip chicken in 98% FAT FREE Cream of Chicken Soup

Then shake it in a bag of Crushed up Original Fiber One Cereal.

Sprinkle some salt and Pepper

and a little Rosemary on top!

Bake at 400' for 30 min.

ENJOY!!

I LOVED it!!

Now that I just shared my healthy new recipe, I thought I would put my progress on here for my Biggest Loser Competition! ( that will motivate me to do good!)

The competition just started this past monday!

So this is my first week, and Its KICKIN my BUTT!!!!

Body Fat percentage: 25.86%

Total Body Weight: 155.6

Measurements

Tricep: 25 Suprailiac(stomach): 12 Thigh: 30

These numbers prob don't make sense to you. But they get the numbers from pinching your fat.

I'll get measured this next monday, so we'll see how it goes!
