Notably, he also co-produced Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny (2015), top grossing Vietnamese action thrillers Furie (2019) and its prequel Furies (2022, Netflix).

As a film historian, Bey speaks extensively on the subject and wrote the widely acclaimed book Hong Kong Action Cinema. He founded Martial Club dedicated to Chinese traditional culture, and published 36 Chambers of Kung Fu Cinema (Vol 1 and 2) and Bruce Lee & I.
