ReBirth RB-338 Mod Archive on GitHub - Happy 303 Day!
March 2nd, 2026
With all the recent interest in obsolete music software—especially ReBirth RB-338—I wanted to make sure an old piece of the community doesn't disappear.
For years, this server has held a directory of 300+ ReBirth v2 mods made by users from the early Propellerhead community. I always meant to build a proper page to share them, but never quite got around to it. We kept sharing them through the old Hotline server instead, which stayed active until about a decade ago.
But today is 303 Day, so it feels like the right moment to finally put this out there:

This archive includes a mix of material—some mods were official releases once featured on the Propellerhead website, and others were unfinished experiments that never really made it out into the world. Either way, there's a lot here.
If you're a newer ReBirth enthusiast running RB-338 on vintage hardware (or in emulation), there are tons of sounds, ideas, and inspiration to dig through in this collection.
A Note About the Server
This website has been running on the same server for about 25 years, which is kind of amazing in internet terms. Thanks to the generosity of my hosting provider, we've kept this machine alive for as long as possible (yes—still a single box sitting in a data center in Delaware). That said, the time has come to move on from some vintage internet technology. In about a month, the server will be physically removed from the data center.
The website will be moving to a new service, and while the format may change, **the archive will remain available**.
Thank You!
Many thanks to all the friends who have been part of this journey over the years. What started as a great online community grew into real friendships, and I'm deeply grateful for that.
