Saint of the Day

St. Dominic (1170-1221)
Dominic was a well-educated priest committed to combating heresy in France. He spread the devotion of the Rosary, which was revealed to him by Our Lady in a vision. He founded the Dominicans in 1215 with the purpose of spreading the true doctrine and fighting heresy, and worked numerous miracles.
