Democratic Communists Were Inevitable replies

Both Yogi Berra and the great physicist Niels Bohr are credited with saying that "predictions are hard, especially about the future." Currently, much of America is freaking out over the Marxist takeover of the Democratic Party, but for anyone who paid attention, this wasn't hard to foresee. It has been coming for generations. If the party elders had not bent the rules so ruthlessly, Bernie Sanders and his DSA gang would have taken over years ago. The establishment media has been loath to admit any of this was happening, so they have only recently reported it. But make no mistake, massive political realignment is coming for the Democrats.

A new billboard plastered in central Tehran shows the skeleton of an American soldier on the rocky shore of the Strait of Hormuz — the latest visual in Iran’s continuous propaganda campaign The bloodthirsty Islamic Republic has intensified its anti-US messaging in recent weeks, as it ramps up its propaganda war with violent state-sponsored billboards plastered across Iran’s capital. The image, erected earlier this month, shows a skeleton wearing a combat vest with a US flag stitched on the arm, lying next to the waterway — at the center of the ongoing conflict — that separates the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is starting a new, bipartisan election integrity task force prior to the midterm elections. The announcement comes following the announcement of the FBI’s investigation into 708 records of Fulton County’s 2020 election files. Raffensperger commented on the members of the task force in an interview, the Georgia Recorder reported. “This group here, they’re well-respected members of the community. They’re on both sides of the aisle, but they are also recognized as being fair brokers of the truth,” he said in an interview with the news outlet.
‘Teach Children What to Think’: Lawsuit

Two Nebraska families sued state and local officials Thursday, arguing the state’s K-12 education funding system violates parental rights. Parents opposed to LGBTQ+ ideology in local public schools have no other cost-free option, the lawsuit argues, alleging “viewpoint discrimination” by the state and an unconstitutional condition on a public benefit. “Parents have a right to provide education with the speech of their choice,” Christian Clase, litigation counsel for the New Civil Liberties Alliance, which is representing the families, told the Daily Signal. “This right applies to any parent. It should be up to them the values their children are taught.”

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) ordered a review of state funding for airports across Texas over Islamic washing facilities at two of the state’s largest airports. These ablution facilities appear designed to single out one subset of the population for special treatment based on religion. That is illegal,” said Abbott. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) plans to install separate foot-washing stations for men and women to perform wudu, the Islamic ritual washing before prayer. The project was initially listed as privately funded, with an estimated cost of $300,000 and an August 31 start date.

Conservative journalists disguised as a Muslims say poll workers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, were going to let them vote in other peoples’ names and vouch for eight other unregistered foreigners during the state’s primary election on Tuesday. Minnesota allows same-day voter registration, even for individuals who do not have identification, if a registered voter from the same precinct vouches for their residency. A registered voter can vouch for up to eight people after signing an oath in front of an election judge. A key vulnerability is that Minnesota does not require voters to show identification to verify who they are.

[This is the first in a two-part series comparing the two populist antagonists MAGA and the DSA.] At first blush, it may appear the nation’s two preeminent populist movements, the Right’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) and the Left’s Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)*, have nothing in common. And it is true, of course, there exist numerous differences in the political views and aims of these movements. These will be looked at in depth in Part Two of this series. Yet, while rarely if ever recognized, let alone mentioned, by each movement’s members, there exist similarities between MAGA and the DSA. Naturally,

It’s happening. This time, it’s really happening. That’s what dignitaries at the pseudo-event told themselves on April 22, 2024 — the day Brightline West “officially broke ground on the nation’s first true high-speed rail system.” Bureaucrats, politicians, and civic leaders predicted nothing but sunshine for the long-sought HSR route linking Southern California and Las Vegas. U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg praised “one of the very best examples of America’s infrastructure comeback.” U.S. Rep. Earlier today, I wrote about Marco Rubio vs. Delcy Rodríguez making public statements about Fidel Castro on X. I joked that it was the best way to end the week — Delcy stirred up a little drama, and our dear Secretary of State reminded her who she's currently working for: Well, I stand corrected. There's a better way to end the week in Latin American news coverage, and it's the release of several more political prisoners in Venezuela. Here's what we know. First, just to recap, shortly after we captured Nicolás Maduro, Delcy's brother, Jorge, the head of Venezuela's current fake National Assembly,

Democrat attorneys general have sued to block the Trump administration from accessing records on commercial driver’s licenses. The Trump Department of Transportation has stepped up enforcement of commercial driver’s licensing rules, seeking more information from states to find unqualified truck drivers, including illegal immigrants. It has threatened to withhold about $10 million in funding if states don’t hand over the records. However, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul led a group of 21 Democrat-leaning states and the District of Columbia in filing two lawsuits in the Eastern District of Virginia, just over a year after an illegal immigrant truck driver caused a Florida Turnpike collision that killed three people.

About $2 billion of the new Federal Railroad Administration investment will come from savings from Duffy's decision to end federal support for the California project, which exploded to become seven times over budget and years delayed. I would love to see America have high-speed rail. I'm an advocate of it and for it,"

In the filing, U.S. Solicitor General John Sauer argued that it was imperative that the project – which includes an underground military complex and a drone port – be allowed to move forward because of increased national security threats and "a growing number of recent assassination attempts" against President Trump. “President Trump has been the target of a growing number of recent assassination attempts,” the solicitor general wrote in his appeal,

One of the men quoted in the report — who lost his wife on 9/11 — claimed Mamdani failed to “meaningfully acknowledge the horror of that day.” The man also cited the mayor’s association with left-wing influencer Hasan Piker, who controversially said the U.S. deserved 9/11 before eventually walking back those comments. MADISON, Wis. — Bill DeLind thought the Picasso print that was stolen from his Milwaukee gallery in 2018 was gone forever. But then police called last week and asked him to look an artwork that a local landlord found while cleaning out a vacant apartment. DeLind immediately recognized the stolen “Torero” print, one of 30 known to exist signed by Picasso. “I was overwhelmed,” DeLind said Friday. “I was at a loss for words. It was an overwhelming moment for me.” The sticker from his DeLind Fine Art Appraisals was still on the back of the framed print, just as it had been placed there in 2018.

However, both Canada and Mexico are cited as primary enablers of the process. By now, you know the story. A man named Jason Arday was hired by Cambridge to be its “youngest Black* professor.” Cambridge hired Arday in the wake of the George Floyd death, a tragic death that had as much impact on Great Britain as on Minnesota. What we learned from the George Floyd episode was not that we should treat or incarcerate mentally disturbed, substance-abusing criminals. No, that lesson was too much for those Days of Wokeness. What we learned instead was that anytime a person dies in police custody, the police must have murdered him – if he was Black.
