Cross Country Meet #3

Cameron, Nathan and Lexi took 1St, 2ND and 3RD in their divisions last Saturday. We are really proud of all of them.
They had a really great write up about in our paper but the only way I could figure out how to post it was to add the page which is on the right side of my blog under "Pages". If you click on that it will bring up the article. Then click on home at the bottom to return to the main blog.

Cross country race #2

The kids had their 2ND meet on Saturday and did really well. K-6Th grade all ran together which meant there was a big age difference. They had to run 1 mile with about 140 kids. Cameron started out really fast and was able to hold onto it till the end pulling out the #1 place in 6 min 11.1 sec. We were super excited and very proud. Nate and Lexi did really great also. Considering they were running against 4Th, 5Th and 6Th graders they did awesome. We are proud of all of them and the effort that put into it. Cameron getting his trophy. Our runners! Our spectators!

Sisters!

I love how much these two love each other. They have so much fun being girls together. I am so glad they are close in age. Mia adores Lex and Lexi loves being the other mother and taking care of Mia. When Lexi is home they are always together. I loved how they were both sitting the same way so I had to take a picture. I went into check on them before I went to bed the other night and this is how they were sleeping. They share a queen bed so they have plenty of room but seem to always be right next to eachother.

First Cross Country meet!

The kids had their first meet on Saturday and did awesome. They ended up running way longer then they were suppose to and still did great. Nate and Lexi had to run 1.8 miles and out of about 150 kids (k-5Th grade)Nate took 6Th place. Lexi did amazing and never stopped running. Tyler and Cam ended up running 2.4 miles and out of about 300 kids (6Th-8Th grade)Cameron took 6Th as well. Tyler did really well but decided that running really isn't his thing (he must take after his mom)so will be trying something else. We were really proud of all of them. Cameron's picture was in the paper on Tuesday and Nate was mentioned as they both did amazing for their age. Getting ready! Their off! They each got a ribbon and were really excited about the day.

News paper picture!

I couldn't figure out how to publish the whole article or provide the link so this is just part of it with his picture from the paper. Cameron Hyde runs in the youth competition.
