A closer look at some cutting-edge research highlights from the Rainbow research team, which is developing the next generation of robots and drones. 

Rainbow’s strength in developing robots capable of reacting to their environment or to other robots lies in its interdisciplinary approach, whereas other teams in France often focus on just one or two areas. The forty or so people who make up Rainbow contribute to global research in robotics by publishing 50 to 60 international-level articles each year. 
The Rainbow team works on both the design of robots and the algorithms that control them.
