so, I have decided to get angry at all pre-teens and teenagers who wear white coats in the winter. In the last week I have almost hit 4 teens wearing these white winter coats and I really wasn't trying too.(that was for you jackie!)
Teenagers are not the smartest of people, they think its alright to dash out across the road when cars are coming and are about 3 feet away and are driving on ice. 1, i couldn't see the kid and 2 I was driving on ice so I couldn't stop...the kids are lucky they aren't white pancakes on the ground right now...
Do you know how hard it is when there is blowing snow and 5 foot snowbanks to see someone wearing a white coat...try it and see if you can stay alive for more then a few minutes!!
Anyway thats my rant...stupid teen running cross busy roads from behind white snowbanks wearing white coats while there is blowing snow...which is also WHITE!

So, those of you who know me, know that I work with kids...for the rest of you...I work with kids!! I know I do my fair share of complaining about the kids I work with but when you get down to it I love my job and all the things about it....I know Jeremy you don't understand sorry I can't explain!! Some kids are little buggers and others are sweet. You never know which kid is going to be what on what day...it is rather fun to figure out each morning. You have to gage them and see how they are going to respond to you each day.
I am not the only one who see that many of the kids that I work with (others work with these same kids) will never get far in life unless something drastically changes for them in the next few years. I hear other EA's(educational Assistance or whatever we are called now) complain about the way today's youth act and how this generation is even worse then the one before.
Granted they all seem to be illiterate I don't think that my generation was any better or worse then the previous generation or the one before that. All I know is that in each one there is a glimmer of hope. The one kid who hands in their homework, that gets their work done in class, that doesn't bully any one or my favorite still knows how to respect their teachers and parents.
We have finally gotten to the reason I have been on a bit of a rant. I had a semi-okay day the other day not good not bad but, it was made into an amazing day by just one kid...He changed it and it was by such a simple act. All he did was hold the door for me he saw me coming down the hall and decided that he was going to open it and hold it for me and then follow me outside. I just thought wow...Someone somewhere is actually learning respect and manners and with that kid I saw a brighter future for them all.

I read this the other day and was like this is totaly how I feel so I thought I would share it with everyone!!
When I say I'm a Christian, I'm not shouting "I AM SAVED," I'm whispering "I get LOST," that is why I choose this way. When I say I'm a Christian, I don't speak of this with pride, I'm confessing that I stumble, and need SOMEONE to be my guide. When I say I'm a Christian, I'm NOT trying to be strong, I'm professing that I am WEAK, and pray for strength to carry on. When I say I'm a Christian, I'm not bragging of success, I'm admitting I have FAILED, and I cant EVER pay the debt. When I say I'm a Christian, I'm not claiming to be perfect, my flaws are WAY too visible, but God believes I'm WORTH it. When I say I'm a Christian, I STILL feel the sting of pain, I have my share of HEARTACHES and MISTAKES, which is WHY I seek HIS name. When I say I'm a Christian, I do not wish to judge, I have NO authority, I only know I'm LOVED."
