Bring and share / Saturday 11th July
Like a barbecue without the barbecue bit. Bring food and drink to eat and share. This year the only 'grilling' will be of our vicar Joy French - we look forward to hearing her story, her vision for the church, and perhaps how she sees Grace as part of that and the wider community.
In addition, Lulu will be explaining some ideas around a community cafe that would connect to people who come to the food cupboard on Monday.
NOTE: 7pm start for food - so that people who want to leave early to watch the football can do so!

A day in Prospect Wood / Saturday 13th June
Bring some food to eat and/or share. Bring a mug, plate, knife, fork. We’ll provide tea, coffee and have a kettle on the go. If you have a camp chair we could do with some extras. Wear long trousers.

Part 2 of the Bible stories of the resurrection, from a miraculous catch of fish to the blinding of Saul - set in present-day Leeds as illustrated by artist Si Smith.

We will explore the gifts of darkness by going for a walk outside*. We'll gather at the church. Bring a coat and comfortable shoes. Café afterwards.

Advent to the Nativity – a journey with art / Saturday 13th December
The Advent journey, through the Nativity, and beyond to Candlemas, is very familiar within the Christian tradition. Sometimes a piece of art can help us see aspects of this well-known story in new ways. Using several pieces of art across our evening together, we will travel a reflective journey along this well-worn pathway. Perhaps something we have not noticed before about God’s presence with us, will emerge along the way.
Living in a culture of fear / Saturday 8th November
Grace this month will be a reflective service with a labyrinth and stations, exploring how we can move from fear into courage and hope with God’s help and strength. We are challenged to take risks that reward courage in each other, to view fear as a normal part of adventure in our lives rather than a barrier to overcome.

Ambient prayer / Saturday 11th October
Join us for an evening of Ambient Prayer. In a noisy world of conflicting voices find space to breathe, listen, consider and rest.

Doors / Saturday 13th September
We will be gathering round a table over a simple meal for the start of the new season, to reflect on how we might together lean into our values in the year ahead. The framework for our thoughts is the 30th anniversary update of our ethos, or statement of values, which guides us as a community. All are welcome to join us.
