It was precisely on these pillars that the Karlovy Vary Region based its presentation in Vienna, where it introduced itself to Austrian journalists, representatives of travel agencies and tour operators, influencers, and travel bloggers. The event, organized by the region in cooperation with the CzechTourism Foreign Representative Office in Austria as part of the PROPED economic diplomacy project, demonstrated why western Bohemia ranks among the most interesting destinations for relaxation, active vacations, and exploring local traditions. Tourist destinations in Czechia attract millions of visitors. In addition to iconic sites, regional gems are also a big draw.

Both Czechs and foreign visitors continue to discover the diverse range of tourist destinations across Czechia. New data from the CzechTourism Institute show that 2025 was marked by strong interest in tourist attractions across all regions. More than 1,300 monitored sites welcomed over 48 million registered visitors. In addition to traditional draws such as Prague Castle, zoos, and water parks, museums, memorials, technical monuments, natural sites, and lesser-known destinations off the main tourist routes also saw a significant increase in visitors. Feel free to play. CzechTourism invites golfers to Czechia, where golf courses meet spas, mountains, and excellent cuisine

Golf as part of an adventure-filled vacation. CzechTourism, the Czech National Tourist Board, is launching a themed golf campaign as part of its global “Feel free” concept, targeting visitors from Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. It will present Czechia as a destination where playing on top-notch courses is naturally complemented by relaxation at spas, nature excursions, sightseeing, or experiences centered around local cuisine. The project also includes partner activities by the destination agencies of the Karlovy Vary, Liberec, and Moravian-Silesian regions, which will demonstrate that a golf vacation in Czechia offers much more than just time spent on the green. From Beijing to Shanghai. During a two-week mission in China, the Czech Tourist Authority – CzechTourism presented Czechia's offer to representatives of dozens of travel agencies and industry experts. It was accompanied by five partners from the Czech tourism industry on a roadshow in four Chinese capitals, and at the subsequent ITB China fair in Shanghai it presented the offer together with VegaTour. A series of business meetings and presentations confirmed that the Czech Republic still has a strong name on the Chinese market and is able to impress not only with Prague, but also with its spa, gastronomy, nature and regional experiences. Kazakh travel agencies discovered Czech spas. Karlovy Vary hosted talks on new clientele from Central Asia

Czech spas still have a strong name in Central Asia and interest in them is growing. This was confirmed by a recent fam trip of representatives of leading Kazakh travel agencies who visited Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, Františkovy Lázně, Poděbrady and Prague within a few days. They saw for themselves why Czech spas hold such a strong position among visitors. They tried spa treatments, got to know local services and met representatives of Czech hotels and spa facilities. The programme also included a B2B workshop in Karlovy Vary, which opened up space for new business partnerships. The sightseeing trip followed last year's series of roadshows in Astana, Almaty and Shymkent. The Czech Tourism Centre - CzechTourism organised it within the framework of PROPED economic diplomacy projects in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Astana.
