The old classrooms now fill with laughter, support, and new beginnings. Many of Ottawa’s nonprofit organizations share this hub, working together to help others and build brighter futures. People from all backgrounds find help, healing, mentorship, and nourishment in spaces designed for purpose and possibility.
The Bronson Centre is like a canvas, and our nonprofit tenant agencies are the artists. We offer them affordable office and meeting space in downtown Ottawa, working together to support the people they serve.

The Bronson Centre Theatre in Ottawa is a vibrant mid-size live music and performance venue located at 211 Bronson Avenue. Housed in a historic community centre, it features a large main room with professional sound and lighting, a balcony, and hosts concerts and events for diverse audiences around 900-plus capacity.

Restoration of the Bronson Centre
The Bronson Centre – A 2050 Community Hub project, located at 211 Bronson Avenue, in Ottawa, ON, is focused on replacing old hot water heat distribution systems, retrofitting the roof and repairing the heritage stone envelope of the Bronson Centre’s connected buildings. Important upgrades will be made for fire safety and accessibility standards. This retrofit project will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the building’s carbon footprint, while increasing the safety and maintenance standards of the community space. The project will benefit up to 30,000 persons per month, contribute to Ottawa’s downtown revitalization and cultural communities across the region.
