Adventure Playground
Families with children aged 12 years and under can enjoy hours of fun in the Adventure Playground, voted one of the most exciting play areas in the South West. At its heart stands a full-sized pirate ship, where imagination can run wild. Children can scale the scramble nets, conquer the treetop aerial walkways, cross the rope bridges and zoom down the long slides. New zip wires allow children to fly through the air and a large jumping pillow offers endless fun. Those searching for swings will discover the dragon swing and boat swings. Adrenalin seekers can take on the epic Space Dive and whizz down the 32ft slide.
Next to the main Adventure Playground (past The Kiosk) lies the Under 7’s Partridge Play Pen, featuring an obstacle course, boat swings, a Wendy house, a ball pit and a jumping pillow – all perfectly suited to younger visitors.
Summer Adventures
Step into a summer of adventure for lasting memories with your family and friends. Conquer the legendary Adventure Playground with its pirate ship, aerial walkways, jumping pillows and slides. A variety of experiences are available with Mini Rovers Driving, Archery, Outdoor Wall Climbing and Outdoor Exploration.
Great British Summer Saving scheme
Bowood House & Gardens is delighted to support the Great British Summer Savings scheme and is passing the full VAT savings (reduced from 20% to 5% VAT) on to all relevant ticket and catering categories between 25 June - 1 September. These tickets are available to purchase and reflect the changed rate of VAT, so bookings on these dates will automatically include the saving. Tickets outside of these dates (prior to 25 June and after 1 September) are also available to book.
