WHO WE ARE
Built on worldly knowledge, seafaring wisdom, and a strong passion for the past, present, and future of Bermuda’s youth – Bermuda Sloop Foundation (BSF) was created. Founded in 1998, the brainchild of three sailors was realised, in 2006, in the form of a purpose-built training vessel, Spirit of Bermuda, to offer transformational education experiences delivering an award-winning series of character education youth programmes.
IN THEIR OWN WORDS
[We] have gotten closer together than just being peers with each other in school, because of us having to live in close quarters. We have learned to live with each other and cooperate well together.
I learned how to work with a team and co-operate with others and not to be negative to others and always treat others how I would want them to treat me.
What I learned about myself is that I can be a good leader.
