My apologies for not up keeping the blog so great. So quick update since last Halloween...
Christmas was wonderful! We were truly blessed! In fact, blessed is a good term to describe our lives since then. There have been some challenges as I'm sure everyone does but we've been blessed to put faith in the bigger and trust that everything will work out as it should and it has.
We moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina last week. Sold our furniture, put the rest in storage, traded in our vehicles for a van, threw everything we could take in the back, and headed across the country. Never in my wildest dreams would I think I'd be living here! Troy accepted a seasonal job flying tours which will be until September. Oh how sad I was to leave family and friends, but I came to the conclusion I can either sulk in endless tears and sorrow (which there have been many shed) or I can make the most of the time we're given out here. I choose the latter.
Ty's walking all over the place and has been since last Nov. He went on his first plane ride to Texas in Nov. It was such an awesome experience to see family down there. He turned one on Dec 18th. We celebrated with grandmas, grandpa, and aunt Heather at his "Uno" themed party. He loved the frosting and cake! He doesnt like his hands to be dirty so I was anxious to see how he'd do with the cake but he loved it. He can say row, yum, tickle, dada and mama occasionally, and knows sign language pretty well. He knows all his body parts very well and can point to them/ wiggle them when we tell him to. He has all his teeth except his 2nd set of mollars, and he loves to make faces at people especially the "monster" look and embarrass mom when we're at church or in the grocery store. He likes to follow us around everywhere we go and do what we're doing, and of course, he LOVES playing with dad! He loves to be outside and after te 35+hr trip out here he thinks his carseat is out to get him. The only thing that he likes watching on tv is baby signing time and the weather forcast for some reason. Believe it or not he IS getting in some hair. He's a joy! We love him! I continue to get sad when I look at him and think where did my baby go but I delight in watching him develop and figure things out in life.
(Pictures to come when I figure out how to do it again.)

Thank you for the information!
