Colorado Springs Vacay

We took the kids to Colorado Springs for a quick vacation. WHAT A FUN TRIP! We swam, played, relaxed and explored. We visited the Anasazi cliff dwellings in Manitou Springs. The dwellings were really amazing to walk through.

We also hiked around Garden of the Gods. The views were amazing and there were some incredible photo ops!
Why do vacations have to end?

Our Dino Star!

Ashton's first grade class performed a musical entitled "Dino Stars." She had two different lines and did a great job. She was the cutest pterodactyl there. It was not easy finding a cute brown outfit for her to wear, but she was truly adorable.

Wolf Award

We had literally been waiting MONTHS for Jackson to receive his Wolf, with the Blue and Gold banquet and the Pinewood Derby all taking place during the normal Pack Meetings. He is officially a WOLF! His goal is to get as many of the belt loops he can before the program changes.
Congratulations, Jackson!

Coloring Eggs

I MUST remember to buy more eggs next year. The kids had SO much fun dyeing eggs. We had the Jones family over for lunch, an egg hunt and fun! HAPPY EASTER!

Science Fair and Invention Convention

These boys did a GREAT job at the Invention Convention. They created a portable game table with ping pong, checkers, chess, tic tac toe and flick football. They spent SO many hours, and did a great job. They were bummed they did not place...but had fun showing their invention off.

Friends!

So thankful my friend Jen was able to squeeze in a quick visit to Fort Collins when she came to visit her mother in Denver. WE MISS YOU, JEN! Thanks so much for taking the time to catch up.

Disney on Ice

Spring Break ended with Disney on Ice. We had never been...and were totally spoiled by sitting in box seats! The kids LOVED the popcorn and drinks. The show was fantastic.

SPRING BREAK

 Spring Break!!! YAY!!
Bowling with the family...so fun!

What is Spring Break without water? We ventured to Horsetooth Reservoir. The water was COLD, but we still had fun.
In true Colorado form, what is Spring Break without some snow!?

We carried on with tradition and enjoyed our "staycation" in Denver with the Murphy family. The kids CANNOT get enough of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. We had fun at the Butterfly Pavilion, shopping, swimming and RELAXING! We love our friends and are so glad they are willing to "staycation" with us!
