Out of curiosity, how do you calculate percentage of how much work is left in a certain category like CGs or writing? And what app do you usually write the script because I use Pages but it’s just so messy typing everything out at times :/

Honestly, it’s just a super rough estimate. I always know hard numbers in terms of art assets (BGs and CGs and sprites), but wordcount is always a very general estimate.
I use Google Docs! I agree that Pages is clunky, especially since I write the majority of my work on my phone. It’s more of a layout program / word processor, rather than a quick-and-dirty writing program which is better for writing scripts. If you have an iPhone, I enjoy using apps like iA Writer and Ulysses. Unfortunately, I don’t know any alternatives for Android.
