August 9, 2026: SJ Games Partners With Glass Canon Network

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Glass Canon Network!

Glass Canon Network is a multi-faceted, RPG-focused organization bringing exciting content to roleplayers everywhere. The company, founded by Troy Lavalle, Joe O'Brien, Skid Maher, Matthew Capodicasa, and Grant Berger, released its first podcast episode on March 15, 2015. Since then, they've grown to a wide network of shows.

We are collaborating with them on four upcoming actual-play videos. August 8, 2026: Seven-Part Pact Archmagus Edition

Dear Steve,

As you know, one of the perks of working for the Hidden Masters is the comp copies of our awesome stuff. In that regard, I have a question: For Seven-Part Pact, will we be getting the standard Retail boxed set, or the Kickstarter-exclusive "Archmagus" version?

The standard edition looks fantastic – Ruby's doing amazing work, as ever! – but the Archmagus edition jumps out at me as one of the most-amazing pieces of RPG "art" I've seen as a physical item . . . and I'd hate to miss out. If I need to pay the difference to "upgrade" my comp copy, or back the campaign, or whatever, please let me know. (Depending on the answer, Nikki's copy might go to our kid as a Christmas gift . . .)

It began with a dream: What if we could take the beloved, decades-old, three-column, two-volume GURPS Basic Set for GURPS Fourth Edition and update it to be one volume, graphically refreshed, two-column (to match more-recent books) . . . and keep every header and page reference the same, to maintain compatibility with the entire Fourth Edition library?

Oh, and – while we're at it – maybe squeeze in some awesome rules from other supplements in the extra pages?

Thanks to the herculean efforts of production sorceress Nikki Vrtis and GURPS mastermind Sean Punch, we did exactly that . . . and it's a glorious 592-page achievement.

Right before slipping out the door to Gen Con, we managed to put GURPS Basic Set, Fourth Edition Revised on Warehouse 23, as a pre-order for the hardcover, the instantly downloadable PDF, and – for the first time via W23 – a bundle where you can get both at . . . [more]

The entire team at SJ Games would like to sincerely thank everyone who came to the Munchkin 25th Anniversary Party last week at Gen Con, in honor of a quarter century of Kicking Down the Door!

We hope you enjoyed all the fun and exciting elements the party had to offer, from eating delicious food to drinking Electric Radioactive Acid Potions to sharing your favorite Munchkin memories to questing to Level 10 to grabbing a goodie bag full of exclusive treasures, and everything in between.
