It's Been a While

I know it's been a while since I posted. There's been so much going on here that I haven't had time to check in.

We finally found a good deal on a car for Krista to drive not too long after I made my last post. She loved the car but unfortunately, a little over a week ago she had a wreck here in town and now she's without a car again. I'm just thankful that the only thing injured was the car and nothing else!! So needless to say, we're back at square one on the car search. She's currently using my car to drive back and forth to school until we can get her another one.

It looks as though it's going to be a while longer before I can get back to designing again. Still haven't gotten around to getting my computer fixed .. too many other things that are more important keeps coming up that needs our attention.

I sure miss everyone! I think I miss designing most of all though .. it's been hard that's for sure but I've been trying to keep myself busy .. LoL! I'm sure there's been a lot going on in the world of scrap design that I'm missing out on. Oh well, what's a girl to do .. LoL!

Anyways, I just wanted to pop by and let you all know that I'm still alive .. LoL! Hope everyone is doing well and I hope to be back among you all soon!

Long Time

It's been a while since my last post and I am sure many of you were wondering about me. I haven't gotten around to getting a new computer yet but I'm sure I will get around to it eventually. Right now I'm trying to concentrate on getting the girls all ready to start college next month and we've been trying to do some car shopping in the process but haven't come across any good bargains .. none within our budget anyways. Briana got her a car last month and now we're trying to find Krista one before school starts. Not having much luck so far.

Anyways, I just wanted to pop by since I'm at the library and have access to a computer. We're all doing great and hopefully I will be back online soon (keeping fingers crossed..lol). Hope you are all doing well and I'll talk to you all again soon! Miss you all lots!!!

Good Afternoon

Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing well. We're doing great. Still no PC, but I've had plenty of stuff to keep me busy over the past few weeks. The girls' prom was this past Saturday and they looked so pretty in their dresses .. wish I had a way to show you some of the pics I took.

They've got about 3 weeks left of school before graduation day so we're now gearing up for that. I can't believe my girls are almost ready to leave the nest .. makes me kinda sad but also proud at the same time. If that makes any kind of sense .. LoL!

Well, I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I'm still alive .. LoL! Hopefully I can get back online by the end of summer .. that's my plan anyways if nothing else goes wrong .. (knock on wood .. LoL!).

Surgery went great other than the pain afterwards.

Unfortunately, the money I had put back for a new pc had to go on the cost of the surgery so it's going to take me a while longer to come back online .. drats! Isn't that usually how it goes though .. LoL!

Anyways, I was in town doing some errands so I thought I'd pop by the library so I could check in with everyone.

We're in for some wintery weather this evening according to the weather channel. The last few weeks have been in the 70's so I guess you could say we have some really goofy weather here in Arkansas .. LoL!

Again, I want to remind everyone that while my computer is still out of commission that I am unable to fix any of the download links on 4shared .. I'm really sorry!

Howdy All..

Hope you all had a very nice Valentine's Day. DH bought me a nice card and some beautiful red tulips.

Just wanted to let you know that it may take a little longer for me to be back among all of you. A few other things popped up that need to be taken care of first.

Tomorrow afternoon, I have an appointment scheduled with an oral surgeon. I will probably be loopy for a day or so. Hopefully, I won't be in too much pain afterwards.

Oh, while I'm here .. I have had several people write to me about broken links at 4shared. I would love to fix those links but at the moment I am unable to since my pc is down and I don't have access to my files. So, until I can get access to those files again, there really isn't much I can do .. Sorry!

Anyways, I'll try to pop in again when I can .. catch you all later!

Early Morning

Hope you are off to a great weekend. Today was a beautiful day so DH and I spent the first half of the day doing yard work. Our lawn was overdue for a much needed mowing so we got that all taken care of and the yard looks much better. All the kittens seem to be happy too cause they all came out to romp and play around .. they're so cute to watch!

Took the girls shopping with me this afternoon and we had a really good time together. I even let one of them drive home now that they have their drivers permit. They're doing quite well. They only scared me a couple of times .. LoL.

I picked up a new DVD to watch later tonight. You know how I love movies .. LoL. Anyways, I got Elizabeth, The Golden Age starring Cate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush, & Clive Owen. Have you seen it? I hope it's good.

Tulips

Tonight is graduation night at school so the girls went to see some of their friends graduate. Next year it'll be the girls' turn to graduate. I can't believe how fast this school year has flown by. There is only about 7 days left of school and then they'll be out for summer vacation. When they return back to school after summer vacation they'll be seniors. It's almost too overwhelming to think about. Gosh, it seems like only yesterday that I was teaching them how to tie their shoes. Sometimes I wish I could just roll back the clock to that point in time again so they'd be little once more. I guess every parent wishes that at one time or another .. LoL.

Anyhoo .. here's some tulips I was playing around with. Hope you can use it for something.

Face Off

I managed to capture a few pictures of a couple kittens the other night and here's a layout I did of one kitten staring down one of my tom cats. Almost looks like they're having a face off .. LoL! I played around with the color settings on my digital camera when taking this shot and I think it gave it a unique look.

Glitter Tiles Set4

Our trip to the doctor's office went well yesterday. They checked Dad's eyes and they issued him some new glasses which he should get sent to him in the next couple of weeks. We even picked him out some new frames which looks much better than the ones he has right now. The VA is also going to fix his hearing aides for him too. I was pretty tired by the time I got home .. guess it was from all the driving but it was a good day.

On a different note ..
A few of you have written to me in regards to the download link not working for the Imagine kit. I don't know what has caused the link to stop working but I've fixed it several times now, even deleted it and uploaded it again to insure that it's working properly .. last I just checked, it's working. Sorry for any inconvenience!
