You may be wondering where you are, and why Sara should be laughing. It’s quite straight forward: my name is Rosina Lippi, the pen name I write under is Sara Donati, and the little company called SaraLaughs is my corporate identity. I picked the name on a whim 25 years ago, and I still quite like it.
Saralaughs is the landing page that will take you to all the bits and pieces about my novels – often in great detail -, as well as notes on writing more generally, surviving the publishing business, my social media spots, and more recently, my arts & crafts work. PLEASE NOTE that the FAQ pages are missing. I hope to make progress on restoring them in short order. When I’m not otherwise writing.
Please read more on the arts & crafts additions as time and interest allow.
I started my author weblog (rosinalippi.com/weblog) in 2003, and for many years I posted at least once a day. Usually I wrote about research and craft issues for historical novelists and the basics writers of fiction depend on (pov, pacing, characterization, etc) but I also reviewed novels and movies and did some autobiographical writing. Traffic was lively for quite a long time but these days rarely post on the original weblog. If there’s news about a reading or new publication, I put that up on FaceBook, where I have two focal points: my own page, under Rosina Lippi, where I post about my personal life and politics, and the Sara Donati page, which is mostly about my published novels and research. On the Sara page I try to avoid the political, and mostly succeed.

Don’t forget the puppers (or the florals).
