There are plenty of pictures to post as long as I can find them.

So stay tuned. There will be something to come.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-87445167437198974592011-11-07T14:13:00.000-07:002011-11-07T14:13:51.039-07:0012 wonderful yearsBrian and I just celebrated 12 years together (Nov. 6th).

To celebrate our Anniversary he surprised me with a 2 day getaway to Mesquite. I had no idea what he had planned. Since our original plan feel through do to the weather. Anyways....... Here is what we did..........

We left home Friday evening drove to Mesquite.
Ate dinner at Arby's
Went to the Casa Blanca for our stay.
Went to see a movie Tower Heist (funny movie)
went back to room and relaxed and watched tv the rest of the night.

Saturday....
Ate breakfast at the Purple Fez (yummy)
drove to Vegas to spend the day

Here's what we did in Vegas...
went to a souvenir shop and got a cute bracelet
Went to the Luxor Casino and saw 2 of the best exhibits ever. We saw the Human body exhibit and then the Titanic. Both were way cool.
Ate dinner
Gambled (a little and won a little bit of money)
wandered around looked at some shops
we were going to wander some other places but that didn't happen.
So we worked our way to Freemont Street.
Wandered around
listened to the band
rode the zipline down Freemont Street. That was fun and I don't like heights.
By then it was late so we headed back to Mesquite to our room. Got back there at 1:00 a.m or so.

We then headed back home Sunday morning after another yummy breakfast and a stop at Brian's moms place.

We had an incredible time together. It may not seem like we did a lot but we did enough. We were wanting to do more but it just didn't work out that way. Yes there was some more that happened but the one thing I am not going to tell you about. And the other was something stupid and a total waste of time.

Here's a heads up Time share people are like Lawyers. Don't get sucked in by them. I would tell you more but I really don't want too. So we will leave it at that.

Thanks to my sister in law Alayna who babysat for us all weekend long. She is a wonderful person.

Thanks to Brian for the great fun weekend we shared together. We have had some rough times in our marriage and we worked through them and stuck together. I am sure there we be plenty more rough times but we will get through those too. I can't wait for the next 60 years and forever.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-43471704087762927472011-05-01T12:02:00.000-06:002011-05-01T12:02:46.461-06:00happenings and adventures
This lovely graced us with its presence.

These next pictures are of an adventure Brian, Micah, Kasen, and I took back in February. We were heading somewhere a little warmer. At least thats what we were hoping for. But when we got to Lake Havasu it was just as cold as Utah was.
We were flying over it for quite awhile. It is definitely a big hole in the ground with a river running through it.

Brian and the kids go on all sorts of adventures. I prefer the ground. The view from up there is incredible but it is just to high for me.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-68694014832948387142011-04-17T14:53:00.000-06:002011-04-17T14:53:26.197-06:00Mini Cheerleading Performance
From many moons ago there were 2 girls that went and learned a fun dance that they got to perform at the Boys Basketball game.

So back in January Phelele and Cheya spent 2 1/2 days with the Valley High Cheer leaders. They got to learn a fun and short dance. All the girls had a hard time keeping up with the cheerleaders. They were to fast. But they enjoyed themselves. This was Cheya's first time ever doing this. Phelele has done it a few times before.

This picture they all had to pose quickly. Phelele and Cheya both had to throw themselves on the floor. It was kind of funny.

January also brought us 3 Birthdays. Brians was on the 5th,he turned 38 yrs. old, next was Acee on the 15th. She is now 5 yrs. old. A few days after her birthday we decided to put her in Preschool and she has been loving every minute of it.
Then it was Phelele's on the 31st, she turned 9 yrs. old (going on 20).
That month also brought us cold weather. The coldest weather we have ever had.

I also restarted up Lunch Bunch. It is a blast. It is something fun for moms and there little kids, with yummy potluck food. I recommend this to any mommy that is looking into being with other moms and kids.

He will be gone for quite a while.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-3844053963405075402010-12-05T14:10:00.000-07:002010-12-05T14:10:06.744-07:00Grand Gulch Mine adventures
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Brian and Phelele went on a flying adventure to this old copper mine out in the middle of no where.
This is a good laugh. We don't celebrate Christmas any more. So we have fun listening to silly Christmas song renditions. Sorry if it offends any one. You got to have a good laugh sometime or another.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-53679747689174458302010-12-05T13:32:00.000-07:002010-12-05T13:32:01.845-07:00Twas the night
Twas The Night Before Jesus Came'

'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house
Not a creature was praying, not one in the house.
Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care
In hopes that Jesus would not come there.

The children were dressing to crawl into bed.
Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

When out of the East there arose such a clatter.
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray
I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

The light of His face made me cover my head
It was Jesus! returning just like He had said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

In the Book of Life which He held in His hand
Was written the name of every saved man.
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready He rose without a sound.
While all the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees, but it was too late;
I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear;
The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call
We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

I didn't write this poem. Brian came across it somewhere and I thought maybe I would share it on here.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-90655618314029462032010-11-06T12:21:00.000-06:002010-11-06T12:21:13.831-06:00NowNow that I have a camera again there while be more pictures for all to see.

Thanks Ann and Jenna for the camera. We really enjoy having the camera and taking pictures again. It takes great pictures too. Better than our old camera.

Thanks again!!Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-34932203436578262142010-11-06T12:18:00.000-06:002010-11-06T12:18:01.935-06:00Pictures of KasenKasen Wyatt around 2 to 4 weeks old in these pictures. He has grown quite a bit since the day he came into the world. Brian says he has probably doubled in weight. I think he maybe right about that. He is a good little eater.

Don't babies look so cute when they are sleeping. I couldn't resist taking this picture of him. So peaceful and innocent.

Rare picture this one is. You rarely get a picture of him a wake. Now if I can just get a picture of him smiling. Yes believe it or not he does smile every now and then. No its not gas. I don't believe that one bit.

He got to go on his very first adventure about 2 weeks ago to Lake Havasu, Arizona. He also got to spend the night in a Super 8 Motel for the first time too. He did really well on this trip. He sure would let me know when he was hungry though.

We all went to Lake Havasu. I was in my truck while Brian was driving another truck (taking it back to its owner), at one point I had to flash my lights at Brian to have him pull over, because Kasen got into screaming for food. It of course was a fast trip down and back, actually the trip down took forever to get there. With all the stops Brian had to make and the stops we made to feed ourselves and the baby and of course to go to the bathroom.

It was great weather down there. It was a little cold here when we left and it was like 80 degrees down in Havasu. It was nice. I think I would rather be down there in the winter time. No snow or cold weather. I can handle that.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-2045635890836012452010-10-22T20:16:00.000-06:002010-10-22T20:16:00.801-06:00Sky is not the limit<div style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">Brian passed his private pilot check ride today. He is now an official FAA endorsed, sanctified, homogenized, somewhat puffed up.....pilot. His ETA back to planet earth should be sometime next week when the weather clears up and he can actually go fly as an official private pilot.
<div style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">

<div style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">In other news, little Kasen is growing, Phelele is learning how to play the piano, Hillary is doing home school, and every other imaginable task that moms do. The wiener dog is still trying to kill off the chicken herd by manual strangulation. She needs a new home, any takers?
<div style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">

<span style="font-family: "Courier New",Courier,monospace;">Business has slowed way down. Hope all is well for the rest of you out there.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-42113619180349739172010-09-29T09:50:00.000-06:002010-09-29T09:50:44.378-06:00BABY!!!!Kasen Wyatt Johnson 12:35 AM (no surprise there!!!) 7 lbs 5 oz 20 inches long. Gob loads of blonde hair. Going to have a hard time telling the three boys apart when they get older. Hillary and baby doing fine. Elizabeth Camp delivered him in St. George at her home.

Congratulations Hillary, you are truly an angel sent to me. Bringing all these wonderful spirits into this evil world to brighten it up a bit.

It is brave what mothers do to have these little babies. They truly hold hands with death to bring life into the world. There is no task greater than this.
I consider it a privilage to be your companion.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-70894887707226278142010-09-27T11:51:00.000-06:002010-09-27T11:51:33.734-06:00Not yet!!!We are about 41 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Doesn't this just sound like fun. I am about 4 days over due with this little darling. I am hoping it will make its appearance soon. My midwife told me the other day that I am probably not mentally ready. I have never heard that before. So I have been trying my best to not think about it so much. It is not easy. Especially when you get phone calls wondering if you have had the baby yet. I have had a few calls in the last week or so. It does get a little discouraging to say "no baby yet." I suppose the time will come.

Here is another update for you all....... Brian is in Las Vegas right now taking his FAA test. He has been studying hard a lot lately. He is positive he will do good on it. I will post more on that later. After he takes this test he has only one more thing to do and then he is all done and will be a Pilot. He thinks he will be completely done by the 1st or 2nd weekend in October. He is so excited about having this done and over with. He has accomplished something he never thought he would ever do in a million years. He never ever thought he would be a pilot with his own plane.

Any one want to go for a fly? I have been in it once and that was enough for me. I am not one with heights.

In another post we should be able to post about our little one and about Brian becoming a Pilot.

Not very much excitement for us, but oh well.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-57316757539512124762010-09-06T13:00:00.000-06:002010-09-06T13:00:10.215-06:00How soonHow soon is to soon? It can't be soon enough in my condition. I am doing alright. It hasn't been all that bad of a pregnancy or the last few weeks either. I am hanging in there for just a little while longer. We are expecting this little one to show up any day now. It will be exciting to see when and what the sex is of the baby.

The baby has been moving a lot lately and Brian says it is because it wants out. I just tell him that it is all up to the baby. When it is ready it will make its appearance. Unless we decide to help it out and have me started, but we will just wait and see. The Braxton Hicks contractions have been a little strong and frequent lately. That is a sign that things are getting ready to happen soon (hopefully).

Brian said he is 99% sure that it is another boy. So we will wait and see if he is correct again. He does get a lot of dreams about things and they do usually come true.

We will post when the little one arrives. There may not be any pictures as we do not have a working digital camera anymore. Unless someone has an extra they wouldn't mind parting with for a short time. We will be in St. George at the midwives house having the little one. As long as we can make it there in time. Hopefully we do.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-35017513829871708962010-08-11T11:42:00.000-06:002010-08-11T11:42:38.948-06:00How much longer?Well, we don't have much longer til the little one arrives. We maybe have about 6 to 7 weeks left. Then we will all know if it is a Kelsie Akela or a Kasen Wyatt. Don't worry it will be posted soon after the arrival.

Tell me what you think it is going to be. Anyone can answer. I am interested in what you all think.

Is it a girl or a boy?

What do you think about the names? I would love to see your answers. If there is anyone that you know that doesn't have this blog address that is in the family or friend that we know give it to them.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-45346014213505823712010-08-11T11:37:00.000-06:002010-08-11T11:37:29.848-06:00What the he!!I'm sorry but this is just wrong. I heard this story on the news today and I would be extremely pissed off.

A lady went in to the doctor's and they came to her and said that she had Breast cancer. So they decided to do a double mastectomy on her. After all this was said and done, they came to find out that she actually did not have breast cancer at all. Her test results were benign. Now she will probably be filing a law suit against these doctors for giving her the wrong results. She now has to live the rest of her life with no boobs. I guess she could go get a boob job but she will always know that they aren't hers.

I mean seriously how would you feel if the doctor came in to you and said this very thing. How would you feel if you went through the surgery and then find out that they gave you the wrong test results. That you are absolutely fine.

I would be furious with them. I would probably also swear at them to maybe make my self feel a little better. But that wouldn't solve very much at all know would it.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-30031740836355823842010-06-20T15:44:00.000-06:002010-06-20T15:44:28.970-06:00My husband...M.... Brian got called back to work. After a month and a half of no work in St. George. He has been working there again for the last few weeks. This is his first full week.

We are in the search of a running Pontiac Montana van or Chevy Venture. We have been but it needs lots of work and time. Brian would rather find a running one for me. Its not fun being without a vehicle especially since he is gone to St. George most of the time now. Let us know if you know of a vehicle like this for sale for a reasonable price and in good condition.

June....

found out that my Dad lost his job. Now mom and dad are moving to Idaho next month.

Niece is hanging out with us for a while. She is enjoying her self too.

Sorry there isn't much to be said. We don't really ever get out much, especially now that we don't have a big vehicle to haul us all in any more. Sorry that there still isn't any pictures on this post. Hopefully soon though. I am sure you are all wanting to see some updated pictures of kids. There maybe none of me sorry.

Have a great summer!!!!!Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-7212372997605562182010-05-18T11:23:00.000-06:002010-05-18T11:23:32.509-06:00FlyingAs some of you know Brian has been taking flying lessons. He has gone by himself 2 times now and getting better at it. And he is also really enjoying it a lot too.

Sunday the kids finally got there opportunity to go flying with Brian's instructor to earn there Young Eagles Certificate. It was the 3 older kids only that can earn and go. They all really enjoyed it a lot and they didn't get sick either which was great. I even went up. It was pretty flying over the mountains and getting a up close look at them. I was a little nervous at times but did all right. No I didn't get sick either. I took our video camera with me in the plane and videoed for a short time. I would post it but it would take for ever to load it and a long time to watch it. Especially since we videoed each of the kids that got to go.

Maybe one day we can afford a new camera to post pictures again. Flying really isn't all that bad. It is a little different in a little plane like that though.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-69698317646935034172010-05-13T15:51:00.001-06:002010-05-13T21:31:15.458-06:001 Birthday and another great thingHappy 7th Birthday Cheya! Have great day today.Brian and Hillaryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06859358542339335768noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5982400641087044590.post-54706261768678493212010-05-06T18:17:00.000-06:002010-05-06T18:17:36.265-06:00those awful updatesHi Hillary.....Brian here.....I'll tell you about some updates.....2 weeks ago I almost wiped out my airplane learning to land at Colorado City.....Note to self...don't take the flaps up when your altitude and airspeed are below 60 MPH. So after that hair raiser, I almost tore the wings off it while descending from 9000 feet into Kanab at 135 MPH......Note to self....the plane can only safely handle smooth air at speeds above 110 MPH. Then while taking off and landing in a 30 MPH cross wind at Kanab I almost flipped the plane upside down because I failed to put right aileron into the wind and whoooopppp, over we went on our side at 75 mph 50 feet off the ground. Note to self.....right aileron into the wind when taking off and taxiing on the ground. But don't worry I think I have it all figured out. My instructor has lots of experience, he has wrinkled two planes and had to make several emergency landings, one of which was in the Virgin River Gorge, when he inadvertantly forgot to stop in mesquite and get fuel. Looking forward to taking you for a spin when I get all licensed. Happy mothers day. Your the greatest.
