No more drinking after the show...Mrs.Shelton told the bus driver during the encore to start the bus..and Miranda and the less than friendly manager whisked Blake away..left the park about ten minutes later...definitely different than his last visit to the fair...

We used to have bands come to our little town football "stadium" at the end of summer. Downtown businesses would hand out tickets for buying school clothes and such.

The Association, Tommy James and the Shondells, The Beau Brummels, just to name a few. This was like around 1965-66.

In the summer of 68 my band opened for the Turtles' drummer's summer band at the Veterans Hall. Johnny Barbata. He went on to play with the Jefferson Airplane, Starship and CSN&Y.

Through him I've got six degrees of separation to just about anybody who ever hob-nobbed with a famous musician. :-)

and the words can be understood....
these guys enjoyed themselves as much as the audience enjoyed them..
hope they all return to be Happy Together one more time soon...

These guys did a great job even following the show...one guy headed to the shower saw a little boy and girl in wheel chairs at the back fence with their cameras..
not only did he take time to pose for a picture...he climbed over the fence posed with each child..so
the wire fence wouldn't mess up the picture..he then took time with all the other fans there before heading for his shower...was
very impressive...

It's been a while since I've been to the Wisconsin state fair. This year, I hope I can pay a visit. I'll make sure of my attendance by getting a cash advance. Wisconsin state fair is an event that I shouldn't have missed. I wasn't able to attend the 2010 fair because I didn't have enough money to go back to Wisconsin. Payday loans could have been the ticket to go back to there. Oh well, past is past. 2011 will be my year!
