Yesterday I was sitting on the bed feeding Cason and of course he had fallen asleep so i went to put him in his swing when Coop asked me if he could sit and snuggle him on the bed so i said ok thats fine :) So i went down stairs to empty the washer and went up to fold it on my bed with the kids and this is what i found....

both of them sound asleep. Cooper is such a cute big brother.. I love my boys :)

I had baby whoppin number... 3 woooo hooooo! This is sweet Cason...

Cason Andrew Rasmussen was born on March 5, 2012 at 3:05 came in weighing 7 lbs. 9 oz. 20 in. and as Mary Poppins would say.. Perfect in every way!! This little guy has been so fun and me being his mommy couldn't I love or kiss him anymore then I already do :) I found out I was pregnant with Cason on my Grandpa's birthday July 9, 2011. Chad really didn't want to find out what Cason was which made being pregnant a guessing game and also made labor really exciting!! I wasn't too shocked that it was a Boy!! Cooper was super excited that Cason was a boy and LOVES him so much :) the minute I had Cason the kids came over and all they wanted to do was hold him :)

It really is so amazing to have a baby come into this world!! My labor and delivery went so smooth this time. Couldn't ask for a better epidural or better delivery :) I was in labor for 5 hours. Decided to be induced a week early due to my painful varicose veins.. but all in all I'm so glad and so grateful I have such a perfect healthy little Boy!! and I'm so grateful to be his mommy... I love my 3 babies so much. They mean the world to me. I'm so grateful to a loving Heavenly Father to let me take care of a few of his children and not also teach them but to show them how important it is to have the gospel in their life. so here we are.. a family of 5!!

Tonight we went to Rocky Mountain Race way with the Fam.... :) Talk about super fun, it felt like i was in the "Cars" movie, they even had a car that looked like "cachiga" the green thunder car from Cars anyhow... We all bought these awesome "Pass of all Passes" and this was one of the events we got to go. I loved watching the cars race.. just the loud vrooooom noise was a thrill.. So glad we went and had a blast!! (p.s. notice Cason's cute head band! lol cute baby!! thx Lynds)

Dress ups...

For Christmas 2010 The kids got some "dress up" chest's from Santa :) We were hanging out one night when they decided to play dress up.. It was so cute! Cooper was helping Lucy put her dress up's on and she really wasn't sure what they were so Coop decided to put on her princess dress up's to make her feel better lol :) pretty cute... I love that they play so well together!!

Wow! Time flies... Chad and i have been married for 5 years now. We decided to Celebrate and take the kids to Lyndsay's over the weekend. We went and stayed at"Little America" down town. First we went out to eat at Rodizio's :) mmmm.. so yummy!! Then we went and checked into our room.. Watched a few non-kid movies ;) and went for a late night run to get a yummy shake :) and ended up getting this yummy lemonade and choc. chip cookies instead!! We both found it weird with just the 2 of us since we are with the kids 24-7 but it was a nice get away.. even though it was just over night!! The next morning we went to breakfast at the restaurant inside " Little America" talk about delicious- so fun!! Chad is such a wonderful hubby who supports our family to no end :) he would do anything for me and I Love him more then i tell him. Each year he gives me Flowers but it's special because i only get as many flowers for how many years we are married so this year i got 5 Roses.. I love how romantic flowers are.. and I LOVE it when Chad gives me flowers. For our 5 year he gave me this special Necklace... it is a charm necklace that has a C and L on it for Cooper and Lucy or it can mean Love Chad.. or whatever i can come up with. hahaha :) It was so thoughtful and touched my heart... I love you Chad! Can't imagine my life with out you.....

(I was writing this blog when i was interrupted by my cute kids but looks like i get to finish it.. and a lot has changed)

We bought a PUPPY! Meet the newest member of our family. This is Scooter. :) He is a darling Mini Schnauzer :) We got the runt of the litter he was from. It was about 7:00 on October 13th, 2011 I had been looking online at puppy's when we came across this cute little litter of puppies so i called and sooner then we knew we were in the car on our way to get him. When we got there, this little guy had some personality and like all dog ppl say "came right to us" :) Chad always grew up with dogs and we really wanted to get one for the kids. I never grew up with any pets so we were out to get something other then a fish :) lol.. We looked at a few animal shelters for one but all of them were big and we are only allowed to have a small dog where we are currently renting plus i wanted to see what this whole "puppy love" thing was!! So.. I love him. We got Scooter when he was almost 6 weeks old and then learned we prob got him a week too early. He wouldn't eat anything and missed his mommy horribly :( broke my heart. He slept in our bed for a little while until he decided to pee in it.. lol so that's when he got booted and learned to love his kennel. He's been a really fun puppy and has potty trained really well. :) He is also very picky and particular about his food.. but most of all the kids love him.. They both fight over who gets to hold him.. but surprisingly not on who gets to take him out.. lol.. that's where i come in the picture. He is super cute and just a sweet puppy who loves to just sit and cuddle.. and lick the water that falls out of the shower :)

So we got Scooter neutered in Jan.2012 and then learned 3 mo. later that he had been sick and had been suffering for a little bit. Cute Scooter developed horrible, i mean HORRIBLE BREATH! I am not talking about the normal dog breath. I can handle that. I could not handle this breath, he always hung his mouth open so i could constantly smell it too. Especially being pregnant. I decided to take him to Petco to get his teeth clean when they told me to get him to the Animal Hospital immediately. So after taking him and figuring out everything hindsight of having him and looking at Scooter as a puppy and the horrible breath, the pickyness of food, the constant laziness all came down to one thing :( Scooter had been sick and looking was probably born this way. He was diagnosed with Rubber Jaw. Rubber jaw in big words means he could have had either cancer or kidney failure. The Vet was pretty sure it was kidney failure. Scooter had all the signs and with him being such a picky eater i learned he just didn't feel good. :( When we first got him he would do the typical "puppy patterns" and was an energetic puppy but that didn't last for long. So with all the tough decisions we decided it was best to let Scooter go to puppy heaven. :( You really don't realize how much you love something until you have to let it go... So we said our good bye's and cried... and cried. We love You Scooter. So Sorry you were sick! We Love and Miss you!!

Every time we drive by the Animal Hospital Lucy always says "Hi Scooter" :) it's so cute. I know she really misses her little friend.

I have been back to work for a little over a month now.. I am a dental Assistant to the BEST pediatric Dentist EVER!!!! Dr. Reinemer.. take your kids to him.. You will love our staff.. Anyways, we had a family come in and i brought this 10 year old boy back and he was so cute, well all of the kids we see are cute. So i got him in the chair and layed his chair back and put the Napkin on his shirt that protects it from tooth paste and everything else that i manage to spill at times lol.. anyways he looked up at me and said " Are we having Ribs?" I was so confused at first lol but then i busted up laughing it was the funniest thing i have ever heard.. I love my job :)

The Kids along with myself have never had so much fun at the grocery store lol.. ha ha :) Seriously i'm tempted just to go to Harmons to take the kids on a feild trip in the shopping cart again.. they loved it.. it was so funny to watch both of them drive around.. :) They were waving at everyone and just having the time of there lives.. who new how much fun a grocery store could be :) wow.. we need to get out more!! ha ha..

Sometimes i am so busy but it's fun to be able to write things down about your kids that you just love... Lucy is such a sweet heart!! When i was preg with her i actually wanted her to be a boy so coop would have a little buddy.. and Now i take that back! I can't tell you how LUCKY i am to have Lucy.. Coop and Lucy are the best little buddies too, and as she grows they get better at playing together which is so nice. Lucy turned one a few months ago, she is growing so fast.. She is such a GIRL too. She loves carrying around her baby dolls.. and doing one of her most favorite things, which isn't my fav thing to do which would be cleaning up after her, but she will go in her room and if i have left one of her drawers open she will empty it completly and carry some of her clothes around with her :) it's pretty funny!! Another thing that i love about her is she is such a snuggle bug :) she just lays in your arms or on my shoulder.. My favorite thing about Lucy is her hair :) when she was born her littel chicky fuzz was curly and still has stayed curly and i hope it will stay curly forever.. i can now put a flower clip in it. :) Lucy is a very big Daddy's girl.. Sometimes i get a little jelous that she wants Chad over me.. but thats ok :) lol it's cute! Lucy has found a new favorite place to play.. She loves just going in the bathroom or kitchen cupboard under the sink and she will just sit in there until i find her :) Anyways.. Little Girls are the best and i'm so glad Lucy is mine!!!

Tonight i came home to a frustrated hubby who needed a break from being "The Mom'' :) Anyways, i decided to get out of the house with the kids. We went to dinner at a chinese restraunt together... was very brave of me considering there ages :) lol coop was great.. lets not talk about Lucy.. lol :) Anyways, we were sitting there waiting for our food and as soon as it came out i was putting Lucy back in the high chair at the restraunt when i heard Coop saying "Mom"... "mom" so i finally looked over at him and he was folding his arms waiting to bless the food :) and said "mom, me pray" it was so cute.. ha ha :) i just giggled to myself and let him bless our chinese food along with everyone's names in the fam.. :) He's so cute and i really love how he loves to pray!! It makes you feel like you are doing something right as a mother.. :)

So I checked My e-mail today and My sister in law Holli :) had sent me an e-mail about one of her good friends little girl that fell out of a window 2 story's high and what an amazing family just reading this blog. (http://www.angelangelee.blogspot.com/) She is still in the hospital but my heart and prayers are with this family. Then, i was talking to my sister Lyndsay and told her about this story when she told me she had been reading another blog about a different story (http://www.patrickandashley.blogspot.com/) Don't ask me why i even looked at this blog. I have been bawling the whole time reading it and as i was reading both of these blogs i just can't believe the strength and testimonies from these complete strangers that have touched my life and many others as well. It just made me so greatful for both of my babies. I love them so much. And as a mother, i can not imagine how life would even be with out my kids or even if one of them had to go through the kind of pain these 2 other kids have been going through. Anyways, Just greatful for the smile my kids bring to me. I don't know what i would do with out either one of them. I have been working latley because chad currently is trying to find a job and i miss them, i know daddy time is fun but i really do love them so much. Everyone say's it's prob good to get a break, which it has been, but i really am so greatful to be a mommy :) I wouldn't change it for anything. Love you Cooper and Lucy :)

So i hope i can be a little better at posting things.. I am one who actually likes to write in a journal. I like to jot things down to remember so i figured if i post more i could actually refer this more to a journal :) lol Anyways, tonight we went up big cottonwood canyon and hiked to Lake Mary.. ok.. wow! i am out of shape! lol i about died..but honestly it was SO fun :) once we got to the lake Cooper got to fish for his first time with Grandpa Craig for about 20 min... Didn't catch anything but it was really fun to watch him. The moutains are so gorgeous.. i was looking at the lake and all the tree's around it :) how beautiful.. we haven't done something so different for a while so it was just nice to be together!! unfortuanetly i forgot my camera to take pics :(

We took Cooper on Thomas the train Memorial weekend and had a blast as you can tell. :) Cooper has this bad habit of biting his lip and pulling his ears and so when we told him to get in front of the train.. what do you think he did?? ha ha.. so funny!!

So as you can tell we were bummin around a few weeks ago.. getting the kids ready for bed and coop fell in the tubby and hit his head on the faucet and it cut it just enough to make it bleed anways chad and i decided we better put a band aid on it and after the 5th band aid i told coop he had to wear it and the only way he would is if mommy and daddy would.. lol so yeah lucy got left out but me and chad were pretty excited about wearing our band aids so coop would leave it on... :) the things you do for your kids!!

ndsey and tire.. :) in coops words.. ha ha Lyndsay and Tyler my sis and bro-in law bought Cooper this awesome cars tent for christmas and Cooper loves to jsut sit in it and play cars... do whatever.. anyways, the other night he wanted sisder to go in it with him.. lol Whenever Cooper wants Lucy to play with him he calls her sisder... it's so cute how much he loves her! They ended up playing peek a boo with mommy.. anyways, like i said.. Love them!!!

haha... ok this is gonna make me sound like a really bad mom.. So Coop was skipping and decided to skip right in front of me and my knee hit him and boom he flew into this black bench.. :) black eye :(.. it hurt!! Then exactly one week later I was rocking Lucy.. "The princess" and Coop.. "The monster" threw a pillow at us.. and my cell phone smacked her right in the eye.. :) black eye :( it hurt.. Anyways, there cute no matter what :) love my little black eye'd babes!
