Callahan's vocabulary parade

Callahan's school had a "vocabulary costume parade" on Halloween. It was a really cute idea where instead of wearing their halloween costumes, the children had to pick any vocabulary word and use homemade items to dress up like the word. I was very worried about it at first because I am NOT creative at all!! I happened to be walking through the dollar store the weekend before and saw some bandaids and the word just hit me....INJURED! So I bought band aids, gauze, and first aid wrap and stuck it on Callahan and wala, we had a costume!!!

Halloween 2012

This Halloween, we had a hot dog, a dog, and a banana. We went trick or treating with our friends, Sam and Angie, who we go with every year. Carson's friends, James, Hayden, and Caleb, and their families came as well. Also, my friend Lindsey from work, who is a single mom and her son, Scout. We had a great time with excellent weather!!

Cal's 6th birthday

I am so behind on blogging, so I am now playing catch up! Callahan turned 6 on October 18th. He had a great birthday, but did get sick with stomach bug the next day so we had to reschedule his JumpZone birthday party to Sunday. It all worked out though and he had a wonderful turn out with good friends from church, soccer, school, preschool, and neighbors.

My dad and I went and took Callahan lunch, McDonald's was his birthday request. Chicken nuggets, fries, and a Dr. Pepper! I had been sick with the stomach bug the day before so no lunch for me. Then Callahan got sick the day after his birthday!

Callahan was really obsessed with license plates this summer so Greg and Jaren gave him their old Oklahoma plate for his room! Ha!

Callahan's party was at JumpZone in Bentonville this year. It was SO fun! He had a lot of friends come and their siblings as well. Here is a pic of all the kiddos in one of the inflatables. Callahan is in the back left, in case you couldn't find him.

Callahan's End of the Fall Season Soccer Party

Callahan had a great fall season of soccer! He really improved a lot this year and scored up to 6 goals in one game! He has enjoyed it and we have been amazed at how much he has grown and developed. Here is our end of the fall season pizza party and his team after they got their trophies. This was Cal's first trophy!

Bike Ride with Dad

The boys were out of school last Friday for teacher inservice and so Wade took the day off and enjoyed the day with the boys. He took Carson and Callahan on a bike ride on the trails here in Fayetteville then to eat at CiCi's (they love them some CiCi's!). They had a great day.

First Day of School 2012

School is back in session! Carson entered fourth grade this year and Callahan is in Kindergarten! Hard to believe. Callahan has done well so far this week but is really distraught as to why he is not a bus rider! That's really all he cares about right now. He also loves the playground and often calls it a "park". Ha! Carson is doing great and said he thinks it's going to be a good year. He told us last night at dinner that his PE teacher is "HOT!" oh boy. I'm gonna have my hands full! Crosby is back with Ms. Judy and Judy said he acts like he has been there all summer.

Callahan and his teacher Mrs. Curtis....She is so sweet and I got a really good first impression with her. I've heard wonderful things about her. This is her fourth year teaching. This year, Cal's class is set to be a loop year which means that this class and his same teacher will move up together next year for first grade. So she should be his teacher this year and next . I think we will like that.

I knew the boys were being too quiet....Carson had a sleepover and he and his bf Caleb decided to make a sports store similar to Champs Sports in the mall. After my initial shock, I was pretty impressed with their creativity and organization. The door even had a sign with items and their sale price.

When we went to my parents in June, mom came home with a surprise for the boys and also a celebration for Crosby's 2nd birthday. Look at these cupcakes!! Have you ever seen so much icing on top of one cupcake?!?!?! The kids thought they were awesome!

Mike Anderson Razorback Basketball Camp 2012

Carson had four fun days of the Razorback Basketball Camp again this year a couple of weeks ago. He looks so forward to this all year, and is so sad when it's over. He won two out of three jersey contests this year and was thrilled about that. He also participated with two of his best buds from school so he was an all around "happy camper."

One of the Razorbacks, Marshawn Powell, signed autographs for the boys and played around on the last day. Carson got a lot of signatures on his t-shirt from some of the players and former players. He LOVED that!! Here is Carson with his buds, Caleb and James, with Marshawn.

Crosby jumped off the diving board for the first time on Friday! It was awesome! He is such a dare devil and wanted to all on his own.

Summer is in full swing at the Ramer household. We finished school May 23 this year, I have never been done before Memorial Day Weekend, so that was exra special!! We have been swimming and playing, having sleepovers and friends swim, and made a short trip to Stillwater last week while Wade worked and we visited with old friends.

Callahan at the Naturals baseball game....we had a lot of fun and the park is totally set up for families. Has a kids zone area with inflatables and a park. It is a fun time and Carson and Cal sat and watched the entire game. They loved it! Me other the other hand, chased Crosby around the park the whole time, but he had a blast.

The boys received replica jerseys the night we went to the game. So they were in heaven!

Crosby turned 2 on June 2nd. Here he is trying hard not to smile!

Carson finished 3rd grade and is headed to 4th in August. Hard to believe!

Caleb, Carson, and Cal swimming. Callahan loves Caleb and forgets that he is really Carson's friend sometimes. He asks to have him over all the time. Caleb is really good to Callahan and Crosby though and treats them like his own brothers, in a good way though!

Callahan's last day of t-ball was Saturday and he had a double header, and it was HOT! He had a great season though and he was the youngest on his team. Only he and one other little boy were 5, the rest were 6 and had already played one year. So he was the "rookie", but did well and really seemed to like it. Wade enjoying coaching it too, we were blessed to have very supportive, good families!

Crosby is definitely a fan favorite at the games, and had all the moms wrapped aroundhis little finger! He kept me on my toes chasing him.

He typically looked like this by the end of the game, very very dirty!!

You could often spot him in the dug out, stealing brother's drink and terrorizing the players!

The mayor of Farmington came the last game and handed out medals to each of the boys.

My brother-in-law graduated from Optometry School on Friday. We are so proud of him and Jaren too for all her support the last four years! Here's to a new chapter in life and thanking God for his hand and direction in the past four for their family! Love you guys!

A weekend with family

Last weekend, my brother and sister-in-law and their two boys came down down for the weekend. We had a great time! The boys loved jumping on the trampoline together!!
