TUAN AIDAN MAU TUMBUH GIGI ? 
hari jumat pagi, badan aidan agak anget. duh gue ga mau aja kalo sampe dia sakit. hari itu dia agak fussy. he wasnt himself deh pokoknya. aidan has always been a happy baby..gak sering fussy, gak cengeng, very active, seneng banget ketawa2.. tapi kemaren itu letoy banget dia seharian. seharian dia masuk2in jarinya ke mulut. kayak garuk2 gusi. gue udah cek sih tapi blom kerasa kalo bakal ada gigi yg nongol.
sebenernya sabtu ini gue janjian mau nonton and have dinner and some drinks with Jess. cuman karena kemaren aidan agak anget gue tunda dulu. ternyata hari sabtu nya seharian aidan udah ceria lagi, walopun masih sering masukin jarinya megang gusi. so robot bilang hari ini (minggu) gue pergi aja have fun. dia di rumah sama anak2. aidan skrg masi bobo, mudah2an badannya gak anget lagi ya...
kita seneng banget kalo giginya tumbuh secara dia udah 8 bulan tapi masi kekeuh ompong. hehehe. tapi dasar Tuan Aidan, letoy letoy begitu semangat makan nya masih aja kenceng.

I am in love with the show! The girls are just sooooo adorable. Ginnie is my most favorite and then its Anne the smart one. Margie is fun and witty while Rose is err well, cute but she dresses weird though.
Here comes the best part...
so adorable and absolutely hillarious. not really the hottest thing i have ever laid my eyes on (in this case, tv) but shit that brit accent always works.

woohoo! duh hari ini rumah gue rame banget dengan teriakan2 dan loncatan2, mereka pada nonton fball game disini. si robot bahagia bangetttttttttttt karena 'burgs menang. dua minggu terakhir ini kita emang ngumpul rame2 di rumah nonton fball dan makan2. minggu lalu, great grandma yg kebagian masak...southern fried chicken, potato salad, 30 days fruit cake hehe, I was off the hook. but not anymore...karena minggu lalu itu mereka menang dan robot bilang, if they keep winning,
we have to keep cooking and having parties. the guys requested my lasagna this time. excuse me, didnt you say "if they keep winning,
we have to keep cooking"??
so anyway, i ended up making lasagna, puding/agar2 coklat lengkap dengan vla, green beans wrapped with turkey bacon (halal lho), bitterballen. hehe..we have to keep the spirit going, yes??
i know i am not the best cook like y'all but hey..i try! give this girl a break. its the girl who didnt know how to cook rice (with the rice cooker mind you!) until she's 24 yrs old!
kakak had a s733Lerz party at pre school so the kids had the outfits on for the day. they looked so cute! they will be having another party at school because we won!

bulan december kemarin, menjelang holidays.. di sekolah nadja ada holidays program, yang mana anak2 bikin holidays play diikuti oleh nyanyi2 (sok broadway skali deee). mereka latihan biasanya dari bulan sebelumnya. kayak 20 menit tiap hari sekolah tuk ngapalin lines/lagu/dance. oya, it was supposed to be a secret gitu, jadi anak2 gak boleh cerita sama ortu dan kalo mo latihan di rumah musti ngumpet2. hihihi, jadi begitulah caranya gue found out, wkt si nad lagi joget2 nyanyi2 sendiri depan kaca di kamar. anyway, para orang tua masing2 dateng dengan bawa makanan ringan yg di share dengan orang tua lain. boleh ngajak keluarga besar lah kayak nenek kakek, om tante atau adik/kakak. tahun 2005 kemaren adalah tahun kedua nadja bikin holiday program. yg pertama wkt holiday 2004, kita dateng hubby, bunda&opa (bokap nyokap gue). tahun ini hubby, mertua, dan great grandma bart (neneknya rob dari bokap), dan juga gak lupa Tuan Aidan hehehe. tahun ini lebih seru deh, soalnya kalo tahun lalu mereka nyanyi dan joget diiringi boom box, tahun ini special di datangkan sebuah grand piano besar dan cantik berikut seorang pemain piano yg mana daripadanya adalah neneknya salah satu anak di kelas nadja (brandon)...hehhee.
trus mereka nyanyi2 (10 lagu kayaknya) deh...trus baca puisi...joget2...kayaknya lagu terfavorit anak2 itu adalah "grandma got run over by a reindeer" hehehhe....langsung teriak2 gitu pas nyanyi trus jogetnya makin heboh. kita sekeluarga duduk di kursi2 deretan paling depan....aidan seneng banget liat kakaknya jogetan dan nyanyi..nadja juga kayaknya ge'er gitu. dia nyanyi di deretan paling depan juga persis di depan kita.
setelah acara selesai kita pindah ke ruangan yg udah di set up dengan meja2 dan kursi2. dengan macam2 snack dan fruit punch. saatnya tuker2an kado buat anak2 dan guru2, foto2, silaturahmi lah dengan para ortu.
di kelas nadja tahun ini ada 13 org anak (5 girls incl. nadja dan 8 boys) gak seperti tahun lalu yg cuma ada 7 org.
anywaaaaaaay, hari itu bbrp ortu dari cowo2 kecil itu pada nyamperin kita and told us a little secret that their boys have crush on nadja. oh my god! hehehhe.
yg paling lucu, mamanya dominik nyamperin ke meja kita. trus bisik2 (nadja wasnt around) "my boy has a HUUUUGE crush on your little girl. He thinks that Nadja is the prettiest, smartest and dress the nicest. He asked my husband to give him 500 dollars the other day and when we asked him what was the money for he said he wants to take Nadja out on a date".

tgl 5 kemarin abang tukang UPS nganterin pesenan gue. paperwhites bulbs!! seperti yg gue bilang, gue itu bloon banget deh kalo urusan bercocok tanam. di dalam rumah pun gue gak punya taneman idup kecuali ini :
kalo liat rumah org yg ber-ijo2 di dalem, gue langsung berucap "wah bagus ya...tapi *snap snap* reality check, mampus deh pasti gue ga ngerti cara ngurusnya" . Kalo kata mereka "ah gampang kok"..well, pointnya sih gue emang yg gak hobby aja kalik ya.
anyway, bulan dec lalu gue liat show nya
tante ini , dan desye ngebahas ttg bagaimana cara 'forcing' tanaman untuk indoor terutama di musim dingin gini.
terkesima gue...keliatan cantik banget. emang gue sering liat sih paperwhites itu kalo pas lagi bolak balik catalog

bbrp hari setelah tahun baru, gue dan seorang sahabat di jkt cerita ttg tahun baruan masing2. gue dan keluarga yg cuman merayakan di rumah sambil nonton tivi sebaliknya dia yg pergi bersenang2 dengan suami ke dunia kelap kelip jakarta. tapi sedihnya, awal tahun 2006 ini buat teman gue sudah tertoreh. just ignore bahasa2 banci nya ya...karena ini kutipan dari percakapan gue dengan seorang sahabat yg seorang perempuan tulen, bukan banci. banci dan bencong adalah ungkapan/panggilan sayang semata sejak hampir 10 tahun lalu.

--sutra lambreta beneuuuuuur-- posting di bawah ini dah lama bener ngumpet di blogger. males banget kemaren2 geu masuk blogger tuk publish. hehehehe. pokoknya udah lama beneeeeeur deh.
ini cerita minggu2 setelah lebaran:
kita lebaran di rumah aja, sungkeman ma hubby dan nad (aidan blom bisa sih ya). gue cuman masak sop buntut dan gue panggil keluarganya rob tuk makan sama2. sedihnya gak ada printilan2 segala macam makanan lebaran kayak di Jkt. Telp ke Jkt tuk maaf2an. Tahun ini mereka bikin rame2 di rumah nyokap. So seluruh keluarga besar bakal ngumpul disana. Kangennya...sama semua. Hiks hiks.
Sabtu nya, sebenernya gue dapet undangan baby shower. tapi nadja dipanggil tuk ikutan kids fashion show and she was so excited about it. i promised my friend that i'd come to the baby shower. but unfortunately the shower and the show were both started at noon. So I called Jessica ( the gal i was supposed to ride with) and told her to stop by and get the presents for the mom to be. Hubby, Aidan and I went to the fashion show. Then in laws showed up. Nadja was looking pretty (thats my gal!), they had some people there to help the kids with their hair. No make up just some cute hair dos. Nadja had her long hair curled up, you know, the Shirly Temple-look.
Sampe rumah... gue (percaya ngga percaya) berkebun. mumpung hari itu udaranya gak gitu dingin. cangkul sana sini, cabut2 weed, trim2 ini itu. the problem : I wasn't even sure what I was doing. ^_^
Hari Minggu nya di rumah aja. Did some massive cleaning. 1/4 of my house looked immaculate. Well, at least for an hour or two.

here when n I was taking a break from cleaning. udah lama banget pengen beli cowgirl boots buat nadja. but we havent found the ones we like or they happened to not hv her size. oh well! but guess what they got?

nah ini recap selama sebulan dari nov-dec, yg geu inget aja lah pokoknya
kiara turn 2! she had a Tinkerbell Party. I let them borrowed most of the stuff I used for Nadja's bday party.
surprise party for Eric & Anthony. The twins turned 30. It was held in a banquet room and we got to bring the kids along. nadja had so much fun playing with the other kids and aidan was so calm and happy. as usual i had fun chit chatting with jess, kelly, amy, denise, angela, michele, lisa and others.
bubba (thats what our kids call their grandma) took nadja to see the circus and also Chicken Little on Sat&Sun
black friday...went shopping with hubby and the kids. i did good this year. nothing too damaging, hehhee.
thx giving, we stayed at home. this year we didnt go to uncle tom's house since he moved to alabama. in laws went over to grandma's but we decided to stay home.
rob's work party. this year wasnt as fancy as last year. no 3 course meal dining with free flowing good wine and champagne. they picked a banquet room in a resto slash bar with beer and liquour and ribs and wings. everyone had fun. it was very casual . mom in law watched the kids. the next day i got a horrible horrible flu i couldnt get up from the bed for almost week.

ONCE UPON A TIME... 
...there was a beautiful Princess named Nadja who lived in a beautiful castle. Nearby, there was a beautiful garden with one tiny wee pond.
'Twas one day when Princess Nadja was playing by the pond and whispered " I wish I have a little brother to play with and for me to love. I promise I will love him and take care of him forever and ever"
Suddenly, one little frog jumped onto the Princess' lap and said " Ribbit! Good morning Princess Nadja. My name is Aidan. Beautiful day indeed, isn't it? But why the long face? Ribbit!"
"Oh hello, dear Frog...uuuummm, I mean.. Aidan. How are you today? Well, I frowned because I just thought how grand it would be to have a little brother" said the Princess.
"Oh oh oh. I would love to love to love to love to be a brother of a beautiful and kind-hearted Princess like you!" Aidan the Frog said.
"You would?" Asked the Princess.
"Who wouldn't oh my lovely Princess? I promise I'll be a good brother. On one condition though. Ribbit! You must give me a smooch on the cheek and I will forever be your little brother."
"For real?"
"For real! Ribbit!"
Princess Nadja then put the frog on her hand and gave him a smooch on the cheek.
Swoosh! The frog then suddenly turned into a very cute little Prince. Prince Aidan, that is.
....And they lived happily ever after.

so oct 31's done. for us it was more of a play dress-up day. we had a very busy weekend. Friday we took the kids to the mall. they had trick or treatin' nite from 6-8pm. nadja couldn't decide what she wanted to be until the last minute. at first, she wanted to be this girl:
but then when she got a bunch of princess dresses for her bday, she changed her mind. she, of course, wanted to be a princess. then she changed her mind again the last minute. the only thing i bought was the pink wig. that was all i had.So I just grabbed one of her pink dresses, a white t-shirt, a pair of white stockings and her shoes. And there, she-was-almost-stephanie. I put on a policeman costume for Aidan. It says BABY PATROL. the mall was packed. people were in costumes and most stores gave away candies and stickers and tattoos and coupons. looked like Nadja and Aidan were the only two wearing those costumes. There were a lot of princesses though.

Saturday, at noon, hubby and I had an appointment
here to get the kids' pics taken. Finally they got to wear their princess and frog prince costume. Christine&Jeff got Nadja that dress as her bday present. I bought Aidan's frog suit and made my own crown out of gold fabric I got from WalMart. Just sew it on and voila! That was actually what Aidan wore for Nadja's princess/bday party.
The kids had soooooooooooooo much fun at the photo studio. Nadja definitely knew what she was doing and Aidan had a blast. He kept giggling and laughing and gave us the best smiles. People that were shopping walked pass the studio and stopped to look through the window and watched these two kids in action. Hahahaha...
I love that place, they took really good pictures. This was Aidan's first studio experience. Nadja had hers taken there a lot.
After the photo session, off we went to
for Derek's bday.
Went home, took a rest for 2 hours and headed up to Shawn&Kelly's for a party. It was a fun party. Everyone really had the effort of dressing up. The kids had so much fun but it surely was a long day for them.
Sunday, I took Nadja shopping. I was looking for some retro/vintage posters for the dining room. I already have 6 or 7 of them but found and bought 5 more so that should covered up the one side wall. Hubby and pap pap (hubby's dad) took Aidan to Lowe's and Sears for some tools. Thats right. Girls do their own thing. Boys do their own thing. Girls rule boys drool! Hehehe...

Lupa cerita hari Sabtu last weekend itu abis potong rambut, malemnya gue nge date ma hubby. Anak2 spent time with their grandma (mom in law). Dah gitu semaleman itu pas dinner yg diputer lagu diatas itu berulang2. Dirty dancing baybeeee... And I cant get that song out of my head..eversince.
Hmmmm...sekarang dah hari Minggu lagi. Dah seminggu gue berambut baru pendek. Tadi malem gue ngumpul2 with the girls, Marlyne came from Pitts so we all had dinner and went out. With them, its never a dull moment. Sannnjriiiiiiitttt dingin banget tadi malem! Hubby bawa Nadja main bowling dan karena ujan seharian, Aidan tinggal di rumah dan kita minta tolong hubby's grandma to come over and watch him.
We're baby sitting Naomi(she's 8) until Monday. Kata hubby (dari tadi malem) Nadja dan Naomi loncat2 nyanyi2 joget2 di play room di atas. Hari ini more likely kita nggak ngapa2in. Bakal hujan seharian and there's a football game in the afternoon. So y'all know what hubby wants me to do every Sunday when its game day...get Aidan in his football gear!!!

I had a hair cut last Saturday.
What was I thinking?? Kwaaaaaaa.. I miss my long-hair!!
But I had to. Remember the story of me
going bald loosing hair?
'Nyhoo, this is how I look now.
My stylist was really workin' on me that day. First she did the shoulder-cut then that Jayla-cut. She did real awesome with that Jayla-cut. It looked exactly the same but I told her to chop off some more and make it shorter. What the heck. So there you go...
And as you can see, I am back to basic with this blog. Nothing fancy but its quite alright. (it is still a mess though. i lost all of my links from the old skin and i dont know how to change the shoutbox. the bottom one where y'all put your name and msgs. help, anyone?) Although I looooooooved the old skin, my blog needed new face. Well, bye bye

Ms. Nad had her picture taken at school today. I cant wait to see how the pictures turn out to be and what she looks like.
As for Tuan Aidan, he still have that red rash on his cheeks every other day. We still can't figure out if he is allergic to something. And he loooooooooooooves mashed potato that mommy made. Well, actually, he loves anything, including anything-he-can-grab-and-put-in-his-mouth.
