Max Middle’s visual poetry was exhibited in ‘A Survey of Contemporary International Visual Poetry & Related Art’ in Cleveland, Ohio in April 2006. His work appears in the anthologies Shift & Switch: New Canadian Poetry (Toronto: The Mercury Press, 2005), Decalogue: ten Ottawa poets (Ottawa: Chaudiere Books, 2006) and in a portfolio of Letraset based visual poetry, Simplex 17, edited & published by derek beaulieu. Under the Griddle Grin imprint, Middle edits & publishes the Puddle leaflet poetry series. As a founding member of the ensemble known as the Max Middle Sound Project, he has been conducting investigations into performance poetry, art & music with very talented collaborators.
