To rebuild, restore and restock what’s lost in floods
Only to be faced with a similar situation a couple of years later!

1. What have your recently forgotten to do until the last minute?
Probably I’ll remember tomorrow!
2. How many blog posts do you publish on average a day?
I now write 2 posts daily. On Monday I reblog first 2 responses to my WDYS Challenge. Mostly I don’t write more than 2 posts these days, but in past I used to write 4-5 posts a day too!
3. How long have you been blogging?
It will be 8 years in September. I made an account in February of 2018, but wrote my first post on September 6th. Till now I’ve written around 11,000 posts, but some of them are reblogs.
4. If you had to rename your blog, what would it be?
I think I’ll stick to” Keep it alive” – it really embodies my theme.

Watched 2 wonderful movies this weekend!
The sheep detectives;
Remarkably Bright Creatures;
Both are very good movies, narrated by non- humans. Both were recommendations from different bloggers- one was from Geeta, and the other one was recommended by a favorite blogger, Cindy!
And it’s after a long time that I watched a movie on my own, at home

Humans, mostly are impatient by nature
They want their efforts to be rewarded immediately
And waiting for the results is not something that comes easily
But patience is something we all need if we believe
That our efforts will be rewarded- when the time is right!
In Quran, the father of Joseph – Jacob is tested many times
And every test finds his faith stronger and his patience deeper
Whenever a new trial comes his way- he declares that
He will be patient, in a beautiful way, pleasing to God. ( صبر جمیل)
There is a saying in Urdu- the fruit of patience is sweet
Implying that if we wait the fruit on the tree to ripen
We will be rewarded by a sweet return, but if we are hasty
The fruit will be raw, unripe and either sour or tasteless
So we exercise strength and wait for just the right time!

We all claim to practice honesty yet a white lie slips blithely when we need it
Shying away from truth is so common- we say we don’t lie when we abstain from truth
Keeping quiet when we should have spoken up – and only being honest when it suits our purpose
And being evasive when it doesn’t, in fact doesn’t really embrace the spirit of complete honesty.
My religion teaches us that speaking up against a tyrant ruler is the biggest jihad.
Do we in all honesty, really practice honesty?
